forgive my simple mind.
1) Ok so, No the Kurds are no longer using the Swiss Dinar, or their own currency? but are they using the New Iraqi Dinar or not?

2) And if their FI law was passed, cant the dinar be pegged now.

3) What happened on 8/2 with the IMF.

4) Last month when Maliki was here in the US to visit Washington, wasn't he supposedly going to make a trip to NYC on a mysterious trip to perhaps the
NY stock exchange?

I think Cigarman has it right...seems like it all is narrowed down to that..
Did we ever get it verified if the F1 law for the rest of Iraq was passed or not..? Thought I read somewhere that they just haven't announced it yet... I could be mixed up So even if the F1 law passes unless more debt is forgiven it still will be on hold? However with Kurds moving ahead with or without Bagdad maybe that can create enough pressure from outside sources to make it happen..?

P.S. Also as Readyto Go says... Security is a major concern..

Ministry of Finance being replaced because of the redicules statement he made about lopping... A private bank in Iraq (couldnt catch the name) and a Trade Bank in Iraq is buying up dinar and keeping it in their vaults... they know it will be valuable.. Mentioned the law allowing Isreal to buy dinar as a investment also a real big deal... they will transcribe it and post it the conf. call ... I'm sure someone will post it soon... any way I tried to catch what appeared to be significant at least to me... YEAH! I feel good again!!!
