Brother called me tonight said he was watching Cnn World news last night, and they were talking about the dinar being rv/released next week, along with a 90 day period before it begins trading internationally.

Sorry, that I didn't get to see it. I'm trying to confirm this. Hopefully someone may have seen the report?

The announcement will not be released by anyone outside Shabibi or Maliki. If any tv station got hold of it can you imagine the speculation?! Be like KNOWING you had a winning lotto ticket with the winning draw being the following week!!

Still convinced the announcement of a r/v will come hand in hand with the FIL ratification in a press conference made by Maliki.

Well if it was on CNN world, alot of people must have seen it if it were on the news, but doubt it.

Tomorrow is our next landmark with the FIL being passed by parliament. From what I've heard this SHOULD be in the bag and has already been agreed behind closed doors. Then again this is Iraq and we've come to learn how stubborn they can be....

Not had a chance to scout elsewhere yet today.

Gunmen rob bank in northern Baghdad

BAGHDAD (CNN) -- Gunmen stormed a bank in northern Baghdad Tuesday, killing five people and stealing thousands of dollars in currency before fleeing, Baghdad emergency police official said.

According to the official, the gunmen made off with 7 million Iraqi dinar, or about $5,000, from the al Rashid bank in the capital's Raghiba Khaton neighborhood. (Posted 4:20 a.m.)

Kurds showing the way AGAIN. More and more of a divide. The Kurds want nothing more than to breakaway from the rest of the country......Why Maliki needs to get things pushed through asap including security and of course a r/v.

Iraq's Kurdish autonomous region yesterday published a draft version of a law giving itself the right to control petroleum operations in its own territory and the disputed province of Kirkuk.

Going back to that post about the mention on CNN, is that a possibility that the reval could come shortly but not being able to trade internationally for a period of time.Seems to defeat the objective.

Mosul leadership teams boycotted the second and third
1-arrest of 25 terrorists.
2 39-Implementation and 5 periodic raids and 18 ambush.

Ramadi teams boycotted the first and seventh

2-Implementation of 167 regular and 12 raids and 15 control.

Categorically Diyala, Salah al-Din Kirkuk leadership teams fourth and fifth
1-arrest of 13 terrorists.
2 - 2 found an explosive device on the road to Kirkuk-Baiji.
3 71-Implementation periodically and 4 control.

Boycotted the Middle Euphrates and the Southern Command forces 8th and 10th
