Iraq has signed two agreements with the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) for a soft loan of $12.9 million for constructing and furnishing 15 elementary schools, and a technical assistance grant for capacity building in the Iraqi Ministry of Education.

Yes that is if this is true. I believe it will be as soon as the others come alive in their part of the world. We will just have to see. And if so the next 24 to 48 will be very Interesting.

Arkie found some really good news, to put it in a nut shell Iraq is sleeping

on a bed of oil. Iraq joining the WTO, enabling Iraq to join the

international market, with World Bank backing. This I think is very good

news but I am not able to substatiate it ...IMF and the CBI is having

meeting to set the Value of the Dinar. This is being reported in the Iraqie

news on TV. We know that the IMF and CBI have already set the rate at

90% to the euro..

Come on cigarman, 90% of the Euro is 1:1USD Thats it?

All I want for christmas is a stocking full of dinars. Especially when it hits for 1:1 before September 1st. Things are really cookin in Iraq now. Like Neno said, this week will be very interesting.

Yes cigarmen, X'mas in August. Stocking full of Dinar in August and cashed in our own currency in September. Just what the cigarman ordered. Sorry about the size, But I am "Excited".
