Everyday "ph". I just keep finding something in my mind to think what can stop this. I rush at the Day Job to get done so I can get here and see if it is real yet. Also check every morning @ 4:30 am before leaving. "Yeah I can Smell it". I just want to "Cash It" in and feel it.

Iraqi Central Bank said that the inflation rate in Iraq jumped sharply last month in a clear indication of the weakness of the economy and warned that the country is experiencing stagflation stagnated amid rampant unemployment. I think that the reval will occur right before the fil...they do not go hand in hand. They are 2 separate entities with 2 separate "powers that be" who decide. IMO something is happening now with the reval. Especially since the very not so subtle changes were made to the CBI website, especially last night. Coincidence....I think not! I think we still will reval by the end of this month (yes, I know that is 1 week) and it will come in high to rescucitate the economy.

I've been reading this thread for about a month now and I haven't seen this simple issue addressed: When the dinar pegs or is re-valued, where can I go to exchange it, to turn it into American bucks? I've heard rumors about HSBC, but just rumors. The response from my bank:

"Bank of America does not exchange Iraqi Dinars. Currently, there are no plans to offer exchange services in Iraqi currency. We have no information on when or if Iraqi currency may become an exchangeable currency at Bank of America."

Any help would be appreciated.

I have checked at my bank ---commerce bank---- and my wife's bank---- Wachovia---- both will do the ttransactions. If you need to cash in a larg amount of dinars let me know. E-mail me. I have a slick way to do it. BOB
