"Bank of America does not exchange Iraqi Dinars. Currently, there are no plans to offer exchange services in Iraqi currency. We have no information on when or if Iraqi currency may become an exchangeable currency at Bank of America."

    Any help would be appreciated.
But when the dinar is traded again. BOA will again. This has been checked and checked. Make sure you are talking to some one other then the teller. I know for a fact BOA has a foreign exchange service and have all ready exchanged dinar's from the past. They will also credit your account when you exchanged the dinars while they check the dinars against their currency books.

Default Plans to increase giant field’s oil output

    By Abed Battat

    Azzaman, August 24, 2006

The Southern Oil Company in Basra wants to boost output from the West Qurna oil field, said a company official.

Sameer Jassem, the company’s information officer, said engineers were working to increase output from the field which experts estimate the worth of its reserves in today’s prices at about $1,000 billion.
The field, according to initial surveys, holds up to 14 billion barrels of proven reserves. It is one of several giant undeveloped fields in southern Iraq.
Prior to the 2003 U.S. invasion the field was producing an estimated 150,000 barrels a day.
jassem said output has not faltered in the years since the invasion but the company believes more can be pumped out to make maximum benefit of today’s high prices.
Almost all of Iraq’s output and exports now originate in the south. Production from northern fields has been erratic due to repeated attacks.
Iraq has 58 undeveloped fields, including giant ones such as Majnoon, Nahr Umr, Halfaya and West Qurna.
They are all available for immediate development but foreign firms have been reluctant to invest, citing the rising level of violence in southern Iraq.

I think that the reval will occur right before the fil...they do not go hand in hand. They are 2 separate entities with 2 separate "powers that be" who decide. IMO something is happening now with the reval. Especially since the very not so subtle changes were made to the CBI website, especially last night. Coincidence....I think not! I think we still will reval by the end of this month (yes, I know that is 1 week) and it will come in high to rescucitate the economy.
Cigarman... what changes on the CBI website? Did I miss this? Please...please
    tell me more

I have an account with BOA, check today with Assistant Branch Manager and she exactly the same thing regarding Dinar. When Iraq Dinar appear on BOA's list of foreign currency exchange, Dinar will be exchanged..period.

Also, just like a banker, she ask me how much would I be depositing? I just smile and said you will be surprised.

Talking Just posted on another forum!!!

I have trusted this poster on another forum and he just posted this. Looks like Adster will win. LOL

There are a lot of people on here that know me personally, They know that I own a Nutrition Business, they know my address, my phone number they have been to my home. They know that I am not a dealer. They know that I, like a lot of you have hundreds and hundreds of hours under our belt's in research on the Iraqi Dinar, and that I am a supporter of the Iraqi people. And that yes I have invested quite heavily in the NID,and in Warka and the ISX as well. I have posted about my feelings about the importance of rumors in our dinar world, its what keeps our dreams alive. I was not going to post any more because I don't like the fact that some of the people on here without knowing you at all they accuse you of being a dealer. There are some good dealers and some that I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw them. Like some of you I have been burnt big time by one of them. But enough of that. As you know I posted what is classified as a soft rumor a few days back, well I have a update, and it is now a HARD RUMOR, OUT OF OUR SOURCE IN BAGDAD. THERE WILL BE A REVAL ON THE 2nd OF SEPT OF THE DINAR. No I will not give you his e-mail addy or his phone # as it has already been proven what people on here do with that info (ie Warka info) and I will not subject him to that stress and bs. I am posting this info for all of you out there that like and deserve to hear some good info. Maybe this is the one we are waiting for, we sure do hope so.

Ezcash, not much has changed except that it's antimated now and now there are 19 banks listed instead of 17.
