Default Buy-back rate will be different!!

Ok I talk to them on about when I recieve them, can I turn right around and cash them right back in at the Teller window. They said yes at the exchange rate. Hummmm, I thought why have USD right now. Just keep it in NID's until USD's are needed. All exchanges are free as long as you have a account.

I also ask if the dinar was coming from the Federal Reserve or where. That Banker told me yes it was. But later in the day as Rodney went to another Chase branch and picked his up, he ask the same question to see if we got the same answer. This time they said no and dont know where they come from.

But when Rodney and I meet up later, I looked at his reciept and it was from Chase Bank out of New York with J.P. Morgan listed with it. Just thought I would pass all this on as promised. Going to catch up now.
    Hi Neno,

Thanks for your update. For clarification and benefit of all, here is some info pertaining to buying and selling of Dinar with Chase.

I also made a transaction with Chase Bank in the Denver Metro area on Tuesday, Sept 5. I received the same rate that Neno quoted (.00076310) for buying my additional Dinar. However, the bank that I dealt with stated that the buy-back rate would be .00062396, meaning that if you turned around and sold it back immediately you would get $623.96 (a difference of $139.14).

Even though you would get less if you have to liquidate your Dinar prematurely, I think this recent development significantly lowers our risk potential, at least in the present and immediate future!

Smile Picked up more dinar at chase

I ordered some more dinar from chase on Friday Sept 1. I asked for mixed bills. I received all 25s and nothing else. Also these didn't have that distinct musty smell. As a matter of fact, they had no smell at all! Anyone who ordered and received from chase notice the same? (no smell) I wonder what the difference is. Anyone care to comment?

    worf

    ps

I have a friend that tried to order from a different chase branch and he was told they didn't do dinars. When he told them about my situation he told them that I would probably have my order cancelled and the money returned to my account. Obviously he was wrong! So don't necessarily believe it if they tell you they can't get them. Just keep trying until you get to the right person.

    Default 2007 Budget

    Worf,

A budget doesn't reflect the entire worth of a country, just what they need or intend to spend in a given fiscal year.

And I'm sure there has been nothing budgeted for us speculators... well, not publicly anyway.

    Interesting,

A budget is about what is allocated to spend to operate, it has nothing to do with reserves or dinar exchange.

    Good luck to all, Mike

    Default Tomorrow........

    Hey guys and girls......

Don't hold out all your hopes on something happening tomorrow, just in case it doesn't.

I feel that we've been on the verge so many times then something happens to delay things.

Of course we all hope it will be soon, very soon, but all we can do is wait for that day when it becomes a reality.

Everything seems to be happening that needs to, and surely the Iraqi Dinar is worth at least $1 (that's 55p in real money, lol).

    Fingers crossed everyone.

    Best regards
    Neil

    Default Iraq hangs 27 'terrorists'

    Published: 9/6/2006

BAGHDAD - Iraqi authorities hanged 27 convicted "terrorists" on Wednesday, the interior ministry announced.

"Twenty-seven terrorists were hanged today in Baghdad. Most of them were Iraqis," interior ministry spokesman Abdul Karim Khalaf told AFP.

He said they were convicted for attacks on Iraqi civilians and sentenced to death, in an execution order signed by an Iraqi vice president.

Iraq in September 2005 hanged three convicted murderers in the first executions since the toppling of former dictator Saddam Hussein.

The authorities reinstated the death penalty which was abolished after the US-led invasion of March 2003.

Iraq discusses $33 billion draft budget for 2007
    By Wathiq Ismael
Baghdad, Sep 6, (VOI) – The Iraqi government is still discussing a draft budget of $33 billion for 2007, Iraqi Finance Minister said on Wednesday.
"The draft budget is estimated to reach $33 billion for 2007," Iraqi Finance Minister, Bayan Jabr Solagh, told reporters in a press conference.
The draft budget is still being discussed by the cabinet, the minister said.
The draft budget includes developing the social safety net, raising the provinces budget and allocating funds for importing oil products.
"The new fiscal year, unlike previous years, would start as of January 1st 2007," added Solagh.

So they figure their 2007 Budget in Dollars. Is this right? Why wouldn't they figure it in Dinar's? Just a question.

The reason you can not smell them is you have a Cold. No Just Kidding Worf. But Rodney ordered a Mix too. And just got all 25k's also. So same with you. I ordered the small denom's. I get them tomorrow and will post what I recieve.

About your friend. Chase is not doing this yet at all Branch's. But they will as they prepare them as I was told this from the one I went to that will not exchange them in yet. They will get them for you at this one, but not exchange them back. But right down the road from them is another Chase branch that will. So It has only been a week and half sofar as they are setting up for what they are doing.

BTW, I will let you know if mine stink when they come tomorrow.
