Yahoo can't make up it's mind - on one page, it says NID is 1471.1 and, on another, it shows 1476.1.

Cash amounts sold to the bank and its customers were USD(32.090.000) at a rate of(1475+1+10=1486)IQD\USD .
The amount sold to make transfers abroad was USD (36.110.000) at a rate of (1475-2)+ one dinar as a bank fee and exempt the transferred amount from conversion fee.
thats the amount of DINARS they sold OUT OF COUNTRY yesterday. what in the hell are they doing selling all that dinar out of country? not just yesterday but EVERYDAY for over 4 months.

use your powers of deduction. what does iraq have as a commodity that the rest of the world wants? and what currency is currently valued massively cheap??

The rate of the Iraqi dinar suddenly yesterday, to record the highest price during the past four months, With the increasing demand for the American dollar in the first meetings of the Central Bank of Iraq yesterday, Sunday,.
Explained that the Central Bank of Iraq in a statement issued yesterday, and got (long), a copy of, stressing that the demand for the dollar increased $ 22 million, recording 68 million and 200 thousand dollars after he had recorded 46 million during the meeting last Thursday.
The statement added that it was to cover all purchase offers from the 12 banks participate in the meeting at the exchange rate of 1475 dinars, down One dinar rate of exchange against last Thursday, the lowest rate of the dinar against the dollar during the last four months.
He pointed out that the purchase orders were distributed between 32 million and 90 thousand dollars in cash and 36 million and 110 thousand dollars in the form of remittances outside the country.

Obiviously, and nothing that we dont already know or have suspected the Government is always upto some Clandestine goals. The meeting in Tokyo (WTO?) meeting. If Iraq goes with the WTO, but considering how deep they are into it at this juncture, I doubt they can turn back. The goal is not for the Oil sector to be controlled by the GoI, but rather by the WTO backed and owned by the multiconglomerates. The goal is privatization of the oil sector.
Just like here in the US.

I have my purchase and will sit on it I think that I have provided enough funding to the Big Boys purposes. Lets not forget a pridominent believe in gaining wealth is OPM (OTHER PEOPLES MONEY). We are those other people.

Of course their is a demand for US $$ we are funding theri purpose of keeping the exchange rate stable. Although we are the ones with the most need.
    I do not think that any of this can be haulted at this juncture, but am willing to ride on the back of multiple governments and big business at play here;
As they have been riding on mine forever.

The only thing is I must draw my line at this point and declare that my contribution to the ticket has PEAKED. So in the midst of dates that come and go. I think they have it way under control without further contribution by us. I am sure that their are many forums out there. Someone posted 3 trill. IQD in circ. and that we only represent 1% (I doubt this judging by the numbers in some of the recent past posts of money actioned of by the CBI)

If we cut them off and stop purchasing COLLECTIVELY they will not be able to hold that exchange rate for long as although it has only fluctuated 1 dinar
in recent monthes. Where is all this money going. I think WE are ready for a reval! I will continue to wait as this is emminant. I will however not be purchasing any more dinar for now. The calculations of the Banks emergence onto the scene anlong with everything else is far more calculated that we ca n imagine. But I dont need to read it or see it in the news to KNOW. I feel these things at my core.

Remember the term OPM for this is the game that is being played-So In this silent Monopoly game that we are paying with Iraq, my playing card reads "Loss one turn". I will be a silent observer for now - the balls are in their many courts and many meetings. Again, their government and all the worlds' care not the state of it's citizens. Their objective is to monopolize.
NO MORE DINAR FOR ME - NOW I WILL SIT AND WAIT FOR IT TO HAPPEN!!!

I think this needs more clarification. I dont know where the Dinar Geniuses are Probably getting some shuteye after the All nighter they pulled this weekend.
I think it means the USD they take in of USD on the auction of the Dinar into the US market. It's all speculation again and has always been and will always be
Until one of the Dates comes to fruition. THIS MONTH WOULD BE GREAT!
I am ready to hang tight until then.

    Default Baghdad-Sabah

The Central Bank of Iraq said that the country is making progress in reforming the financial sector despite the ongoing violence with the presence of reserves sufficient to protect the local currency.

The Governor of the Central Bank Sinan Shabibi on the sidelines of the Arab Economic Forum in Beirut on the possibility of achieving success in maintaining a stable financial situation in Iraq, the level of reserves helps to keep the currency exchange rate stable.
He pointed out that the net foreign exchange reserves amounted to 10 billion dollars, a rise of two billion dollars since last January, in line with the target within the framework of the program of the International Monetary Fund.
Shabibi said that the escalating violence has led to high inflation kept about 30% and a 10% increase over the target for the bank, This is due in part to the security costs exceeded expectations. expecting the country after the security situation improved further progress, and not only to maintain economic stability. He pointed out that Shabibi Iraq on the right path to financial reforms, including transformation of the banking system depends on the IMF to the Yatta D credit. He pointed out that other reforms include improving the departments of banks and the development of technology used by the implementation of the deals

Nice to see you on Rolclub Susie, always welcome. I agree with some that IIF is a negative forum in general or has been in recent months although it is more positive with recent events. Why I rarely use it and go to other forums for info.

I did hear this morning and as always take with a pinch of salt that Iraq's debt is a lot more forgiven than even they realised and a r/v level with the Jordanian dinar is very possible, ie 1.41.

Guess we'll see, hoping your right Susie on this week as it's time to get off this ride for me!
Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.
