He's either referring to the International Compact and international investors or a r/v. My brain is telling me the former but my heart wants to believe the latter.

    Either way, tis good news.
Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.

Hey Susie, thus far, we've been tracking the 0.93Euro mark from your sources. Any rumblings within your circle of trust along the lines of the below post from Clueless?

hmmm.. 1/3 dollar + 1/3 euro + 1/100 barrel of oil is in the $1.45 range. the first explanation that fits that value that i have seen.

Anyway, sorry, but that's how I interpreted this..OK, you may start pummeling me now..
Here is the link and a snippet to the UN press con. Q&A:

    The Secretary-General Off the Cuff

Q: Mr. Secretary-General, I wanted to go back to Iraq and the Iraq Compact. Can you tell us what concrete guidance or contributions are expected to come out of this? And some nations are a little bit sceptical; they say it's a fig leaf that you all are putting down over this.

And, since you brought it up, can I ask you to expand upon how Iran has offered to help the Americans leave?

SG: Let me take the second one first. I didn't get into details as to how they intend to help. But, I mean, they were quite clear that the US presence was a problem and they should be withdrawn. What was your first, the other question?

    Voice: The Iraq Compact.

SG: The Compact, obviously, is an Iraqi initiative that we are supporting; the US is also very actively involved. And the idea here really is to generate international support for the economic development of Iraq. I think, wait 'til next week; the pessimists may be surprised. I don't know what will happen. But the attendance is good.

I think that this is a pronouncement for the new Iraq being placed back on the International markets! Via their currency and much more!Folks Iraq has been off of the markets for well over 20 years! We are all participating in history BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now this is where I am. But The Compact was done and International Investers have 20 billion in their hands trying to give it away.

Then you have ShotGunSusie (Bless her Heart) which has went sofar out on the limb that she may just be hanging there, Gauarntee's before the 18th.

Hummmm, Adster. I am going with the r/v thought. Unless I am worng about the Compact.
