I'll drink to that, revalue or not. LOL You are right though, this has been a crazy ride with all sorts of rumors and speculation, but the most comforting thought of all is that it WILL happen, and soon, so don't worry, be happy, toast to our future financial freedom and enjoy the ride. I am still hearing the same thing, so lets start a pool and bet on who is closest to revale. LOL

 (Q) Do you know when it will be announced publicly? (A) Umm . . . last we heard Al-Gailani will make the announcement @ 10 hundred to 11 hundred hrs. Sunday morning. [That’s this Sunday @ 2 to 3 AM east coast US time] . . .
 (Q) Do you know the rate? (A) .93 -.95 Euro, [More grumbling / we wanted .98 but decided to compromise] . . .
 (Q) On your trip have you seen more *Oil - Survey* type crews or vehicles than usual . . . (A) Well yes, *BUT* why do you ask?

I've been asked again, and again, my % read on all this . . . several days ago . . . I was a firm 85% / due mostly to being a bit over-cautious / and that my sources are third hand . . . I am now up to 92.5% . . .

My other 7.5% still nags @ me . . . because this is a huge leap on their part . . . Of course I will zip skyward to 100% when I see the CBI exchange rate . . .

Another point . . . perhaps we should not ALL try to access the CBI site Sun @ [ 3-5 am east coast ], I don’t know if their site could handle 10K people continuous clicking *re-fresh* a trillion times over a two hour period . . . perhaps 1-2-3 *night owl* people should do this and let us all know . . . Common interest / the last thing we want to do is crash their site . . .

And another point . . . we need eyes on the ground for final confirm . . . My Info is third hand / I think much of Susie’s is 3rd hand / and I’m sure she has a lot of 2nd hand / but it would be excellent if someone could drop by the CBI and peer in a window and see if they have a **GIANT RE-VAL-TODAY** fluorescent sign blinking away . . .

You said Al-Gailani will make the announcement but Al-Gailani was Finance Minister in the cabinet appointed by the Interim Iraq Governing Council in September 2003.

I will like to know what the position of this minister right now because he don't part of the new cabinet ministries? thanks!!!

Mike has always stood by a .30-.40 reval, and anytime soon! He never gives a specific date. Just says it is a done deal, and we are waiting for the announcement. Hope this helps.

These are siemic survey crews. For really flat terrain they would use vibrator trucks and not need helicopters. I have heard that for the first time in 20 years siesmic crews with state of the art equipment are re-evaluating Iraq's true oil potential-I have also read that it is very much larger than previously thought.

Thanks Rollsroyce, i figured it would better to consult with someone first. So when this happens officially i'm going to make an appt with a tax attorney and financial advisor to see how they advise me with taxes, etc.
