Here's hoping guys we're celebrating come Monday. One thing though, there was a rumour knocking around same time last September with people that had sources. Hope this time it's the real deal but am cautious at the same time. :0)

I agree Adster but there is alot happening this time with meetings and laws that weren't happening last year. I am skiddish as well but Sunday will hopefully be the day!!! Go reval !!!!

Iraqi President Jalal Talabani arrived in Aspen Thursday night for a private three-day conference for the powerful, rich and famous.

Talabani's arrival in Colorado was first reported on the KREX-TV 10 o'clock newscast in Grand Junction. Talabani flew into Grand Junction's Walker Field on a 757 jet at 7:30 p.m. and immediately departed in a motorcade consisting of more than 15 vehicles and an ambulance. The motorcade was spotted driving into Aspen a little more than two hours later.

The Iraqi president is speaking at the Forstmann Little conference's noon luncheon today at the Maroon Creek Club. The conference is an offshoot of the New York-based leverage-buyout firm Forstmann Little & Co. The annual affair is strictly hush-hush and all discussions are off the record.

hmm, wonder if he is going back to Iraq or is he is going to be hear on Sunday? I'm sure he would go back if this R/V thing is true.

Well we don't have long to wait and find out. Totally agree and feel this is the best time in the last 2 years for a r/v. We've never come as far as this, and with all the meetings, a drop in insurgencies, increased security and inflation, articles hinting at foreign investment and a raise in the value of the dinar that this really is as good a time as any. I don't believe we will now get the FIL until after the r/v. It's not necessary. Announce the FIL once they have a higher exchange rate and open the doors to the world..........

From my recent reading and research I believe the dinar will be worth over $4 in 3 to 4 years time, so don't cash them all in IF it r/v's at .93 Euro this weekend.

Very true my friend only I'm cashing out all of it now because I believe the Democrats will win the next election and pull the troops. Besides, I have to buy some Dong.lol. That's supposed to be the next currency to hit. Right?

I understand President Talabani is in Aspen, but it is the Minister of Finance that is to make the announcement, isn't it? Or maybe I misunderstood.

THIS is what I was focusing on...

Like I said, There's alot that's happened this time to make it different. No use in living in the past, only look forward. Heck, even the Iraqi Government has mentioned the value needs to be raised, I don't remember hearing that last year. It's coming, just sit tight.
