Don’t worry about it...send me anything...its not like I have anything else better to do up here at night time. I got a call today from one of my sources and he was telling me that there are several things out there that are un-confirmed. Even a rate as high as 1.57 euro which would put it up to about $2 usd. This is kind of hard to fathom but I understand the IMF model said that it could support that rate over a year ago. I haven't gotten the chance to read anything from ZZZZZZZ but my friend that I talked to on the phone today talks to Mr. X on the phone as well and told me the gist of what XXXXXXXXXXXXXX is getting. We are waiting for other sources to confirm some of the info. It seems as if the date of the 28th is standing out and being thrown around quite a bit. I have one source that is saying that it can happen anytime between now and the 28th. I was a bit concerned about the Ramadan holiday starting but sources are saying that it didn’t matter. I also hear that the final bit of debt relief wasn’t received until the past Tuesday. They wanted to announce Friday a week ago but all of the debt relief wasn’t signed off on. Maybe since they got that finally, they were able to negotiate a higher rate? Lets hope so! Even more, lets hope they go ahead and open it up. I read an article that said the foreign investment laws should be enacted by the end of the month and the RV HAS to happen before the implementation of the FI law. Hopefully this is still the case. It seems like in the news that something has to happen and soon to bring these guys together...I just read where there was another bombing that killed several people today in Baghdad. Anyway, lets remember that we are dealing with Iraq and they have no comprehension of a timeline or a deadline. So, we will continue to wait!

Sent a memo to SGS, she is resting, looking at the time she last posted, should be rising soon, but then, she does a lot of reading/scanning!

Projected day 09/28/2006, but they mention that 3 day/5/7 day deal, so we are not absolutely sure on the actual day; maybe SGS can throw one out there!

Early October? We are hoping for September to Remember! But if it must linger, we will prevail!

We are all recovering "dinaraholic" and now "ROL-a-forumics" as the quite time surely posed!

Ramadan is in full swing now with prayer, fasting and lots of senseless killing...so the RV will not take place until November at the earliest. That is the latest pinch of salt rumor I have heard.

Even though Ramadan is going on, bussiness is still active in iraqi. The government is still working, so I don't see that stoping the rv from coming in.

I was in a Chase bank today picking up last Friday's order of dinars :) I checked the rate as of today Sept 26 and it was the same as it has always been. I asked if they would exchange them for cash and was told as far as they knew they would exchange them unless something changes in Iraq. So I guess I can say they haven't heard anything about the rumor on the other forum. :)
