BAGHDAD, Sept. 25, 2006 — .............snip-snip.............. The process may seem arduously slow for Americans –who value expediency and want our beloved service members out of harm’s way—and for Iraqis, many of whom live the violence daily. Iraqis have many difficult choices to make to bring unity, security and prosperity. As Iraqis persevere, we must maintain the patience to allow their critical efforts come to fruition.

Maj. Gen. William B. Caldwell IV, U.S. Army, is spokesman for Multi-National Forces-Iraq and is currently stationed in Baghdad.

Unfortunately, this just doesn't seem to sink in well nor would ever get through to those Democrats and worse still... to the many out there, here in this forum as well, in supporting the view about USA & Coalition Forces vital role to help save and rebuild the Iraqi nation.

On the point of making fast bucks...YES... but failing to realise...apart from snipperts posted here in the forum...most of you fail to be vocal with supporting Bush's security perception that actually goes beyond Iraq...but Iraq remains the key pudding at this critical stage on all fronts with America's defence and pursuit to stabilise peace when the mission is complete... an arduous task indeed... but would be lesser if support is extremely vocal which truly compliment the outcome of the ID someday too...

This to me is one of the best signs yet. These guys make roughly $10,000 USD per month now. What would a $14,000 line of credit do? Nothing before a reval, but after reval they will each have millions of dollars to invest in the market or whatever. Plus they are paying it back at the old rate. The trick was to get the loans approved BEFORE the reval. Mission accomplished. They way I see it we just got a couple hunderd Iraqi lawmakers on our side!!! The reval is days at the most away IMHO!!

Thank you for this clarification.. I have been confused seeing it on so many charts as to if it was really on the international market or not...

There are two ways of looking at this depending which way you see it. Yes they are greedy so and sos out to make sure they are well sorted financially but to the extent of a loan of say $20 million EACH if it r/v's at 1:1 after? hhmmm............
Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.
