Default World Opinion of Iraq Seeming to Change

Iraq is getting more respect now that it has an elected government, fully participating in dozens of meetings at the U.N. General Assembly. "Now it's business," said Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari.

Occam's razor (also spelled Ockham's razor) is a principle attributed to the 14th-century English logician and Franciscan friar William of Ockham (Guilhelmi Ockam and Guillermi de ockam in Latin [1]). Originally a tenet of the reductionist philosophy of nominalism, it is more often taken today as a heuristic maxim that advises economy, parsimony, or simplicity in scientific theories.

Occam's razor states that the explanation of any phenomenon should make as few assumptions as possible, eliminating, or "shaving off," those that make no difference in the observable predictions of the explanatory hypothesis or theory. In short, when given two equally valid explanations for a phenomenon, one should embrace the less complicated formulation. The principle is often expressed in Latin as the lex parsimoniae (law of succinctness):

When there are two or more possible answers for a situation, the simpler one is correct.

What could be so important? It clearly states in the article that they are going to talk about the draft Federal Territories Act. No mystery for me. Yes, it is very important for the Iraqi's since this may finally be the only possible means to end the violence and let them move into the civilized world.

I fail to see how this has any relevence to a revaluation of the dinar, other than possibly some minor intrinsic effect.

Certainly, the initial communication would come from the minister of finance and/or the govenor of the CBI...possibly through Maliki...but definately not through a mere member of the house of representatives. I think if the dinar is going to reval before the end of the month, it will not be done in such a fashion by someone in that position. Hopefully, I am proven wrong.

Irrigardless, I believe something is going to break soon.

    Cheers

In my opinion this is an out dated theory and it can in no way apply to anything having to do with goverments and politics. As we have all seen in the US, the most absurd possibility is the most likely.
