    sadly, I had the chance to learn while I was there, but when I realized we wouldn't be doing any local medical missions, I didn't. Argh!

    The sad part is, I grew up close to Dearborn, Michigan which has one of the highest populations of Arabs in the United States. Do you think I learned anything? I guess I should have kept notes!

    The Cabinet decided today, Thursday, to amend the salaries of government employees from class to class five and ten as of the first of January January 2007, The cancellation of the ration card grades and some special grades that will announce later.
    Announced today that the official spokesman for the Prime Minister to Skinner in a press conference held in the Palais des Congrès Baghdad.
    Skinner said, "The Cabinet has decided today to accept the proposal by the Committee headed by Deputy Prime Minister Barham Salih and the membership of the Minister of Finance and Minister of Planning, which provides amend the lower grades of staff salaries class five and even ten class and the abolition of class 11th and 10th class attached to the consideration a of the first month of 2007. "
    The classified staff salaries to eleven grade.
    He continued : "This resolution will be submitted to the House of Representatives to approve the finalization."
    He added : "This amendment will be followed by amendments comprehensive peace on all salaries, including raising the degree of living of the employee."
    However, "taking into account the economic solutions, which will be affiliated with these amendments, which would limit the amount of inflation."
    Regarding rumors that of the Minister of Finance to allocate cash advance to the members of parliament said Skinner, "The Zeralmalih denied during the meeting today devoted to the amount (20) million to members of Parliament.".
    He added Skinner, "It was also decided at today's meeting to approve the draft Convention on the Law of International Railways in the Arab Mashreq and the presentation to the House of Representatives."
    He continued : "It was also decided to identify (28) outlet to enter Baghdad within the Baghdad security plan, in its second phase, These outlets will be the nature of barriers across the Tigris River and the Canal and Almbazl synthetic filling them contraindications artificial. "

    Now, why would you deny that they will receive $14,000 loans were approved. Doesn't seem like they should be that big of a deal.
