Basically the article was discussing the 'ECONOMIC PHENOMENON' and what the effects of it were, what the plans are to rectify it. You only posted a portion of it ( one of the last paragraphs) I found it the most exciting thing I have read in a long time IT blew my mind I was up, reading it to my brother and mother and husband, I did my best to decipher it - you or whoever posted it said that they couldnt find a date. It was from a news paper dated 9/26/06. I clicked on other parts of the document in it's borders that had not translated and were still in Arabic. I came to a home page and re-translated it - At the top of the article the heading stated ECONIMIC EVENT!
After hours of reading btwn the lines to me it SCREAMED REVAL!

If it was yours PLEASE Find it and RE-POST IT while evryone is awake in the states.

I saved it to my favorites. When the carsh happended it got deleted I guess.

    Question This is odd...

Maybe nothing at all, but I'm wondering about the lack of dinar at Safedinar. Last week they ran out of the lower denominations, 10K, 5K, and 1K notes were all gone. They had a nice scrolling message stating they would still take orders and you could still back order the lower denoms. I checked daily from then on, and the 10K and 5K notes were back, but not the 1K's.
I just checked now and they are out of 5K's again, and still no 1K's....

And the curious part you ask?

No more scrolling notification...... Nothing. Makes me wonder....

BTW- Myself and several friends bought from them about a year ago, and a couple coworkers bought in last week as well.

Maybe the time IS near at last...!!!

What do you all think of this?

Thank you for the vote of confidence Hardwood. I'm generally bullish on the Dinar with a splash of realism here and there.

I remain cautiously optimistic about the overall situation. The most troubling part for me has been the security issue. Iraqi tribal thinking is the root cause IMO. Too many loyalties to "the hood" over there.

They need a hero over there. No not the X-men or Superman, but like Ghandi or Mandela. There are simply too many voices which long to be heard right now. No one will get any satisfaction the way things are going currently.

Bold moves need to be made to improve the economy and the Dinar needs more strength before foreigners buy up the farm.

I agree with Hardwood, Pmaximus, while bullish on the dinar, his views are well respected, he is extremly intelligent and sincere, and a true asset to this forum.

    Lightbulb Maybe PJ too...?

Well, I cannot go over the fence and ask, so maybe one of you could instead?

I'd really like to see Psychojerm over here as well....

Even though he is generally considered a Naysayer, he never bashes anyone and can discuss economics and investments with a neutral tone. He too has my complete respect.

That's what I liked so much about the discussions (different from bash-fests) between PJ and Pimp... They respected each other's opinion and were very "Gentleman-Like" is their replies to one another.

Kinda felt like sitting in on a top-level meeting between 2 Professors.

So....can someone invite PJ over here? I think he would bring a lot to the table (positive stuff that is!).

PJ- If you're lurking.... Come on over!!

With respect xealthy, I remember reading a post by BooGirl that she was NOT in Iraq. I think someone close to her is. She posted this herself. Maybe she can enlighten us on that again.
