The Cabinet : an increase in staff salaries and withholding supply of low-grade special


Baghdad / commoners hailed
The Cabinet decided to increase the salaries of government employees from grade five to ten and that the transfer of personnel covered by the highest grade as of the first of January 2007.
This was announced by the official spokesman for the Prime Minister to Skinner, said : It also will be withheld from the ration card with grades and some special grades that will be announced later.
In response to a question about the details of the money pledged for the deputies in the amount of 20 million dinars said Skinner denied the Minister of Finance during the last meeting of the Council of Ministers mentioned the news.
Added Skinner : The Cabinet decided to accept the proposal submitted by the Committee headed by Deputy Prime Minister Barham Salih and the membership of the Minister of Finance and Planning, which provides for the amendment of the lower echelons of the salaries of staff from five to class ten and class cancellation class eleven attached to the tenth degree as of the first month of 2007. He added : resolution will be submitted to the House of Representatives to approve the finalization. He pointed out that extensive amendments to the staircases all salaries are to increase the degree of employee living taking into consideration the economic solutions, which will be affiliated with these amendments, which would limit the amount of inflation.
He pointed out that the council approved a draft law Convention on International Railways in the Arab Mashreq and the presentation to the House of Representatives.
The legislation law for the distribution of land to eligible employees and citizens, and the construction and distribution of housing units at reasonable prices and to the classification of agricultural land to housing in the case of non-availability of land, as permitted by the designs of cities.
The Council also decided to develop the Directorate General of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs care for people with special needs in order to secure the requirements of social welfare, vocational and educational.

not to put a hex on the whole thing but i remember from the three years i spent in iraq Ramadan use to be one of the most violent times of the year. but maybe not this year $$

I bet by now they are wishing. That they would have sent Saddam to the World Court!

Ok, let me see if I can read my scribbled notes. Dan Fadden is the CEO of Free Dinar and he does the weekly conference calls for all the members. He immediately started out with "we have a lot of questions if we know what the meeting last night was about. We have not been able to get a hold of Dr. Qaddouri or Bob Bogue (president of Free Dinar) who are both in Iraq right now." He went on to say they all have been searching the web with their translators but have no news and really don't know what it was all about.They have no idea since there has been nothing on the news. They have no idea and it will be about 6 hours before the morning news comes out.

He also said it may not necessarily be big news since late night meetings and such are part of their life style due to the daytime heat. "yes, they are working during Ramadan in Iraq" He said if it was about the reval of the dinar we might not know right away and the rumor going around is that it might reval at 1:1"

He said there is a lot of good information out there. It was very cool he said "there are a couple of good information forums out there ROL and IIF have a lot of good information. We have also received some phone calls asking if we know ShotGunSusie and were our sources the same as hers. I don't know her but I like what she says" Yes, That is word for word what he said.

I think he mention something about a peg at .93 and he said he wasn't sure what the rate would be. They have always thought it would R/v at a lower rate but with all the debt relief it could be higher. "There is no reason for them to relieve the debt. Why would they unless they were getting dinar in exchange. They could hold it for 5 years and use it to exchange for oil" There may be alot of back door deals going on.

We won't know if they have revaled the dinar until it is on CBI. If it were announced before it was on CBI people would grab it up at the old rate. If they announce it it could be on a Sunday when the banks are closed. It would show up on CBI on Monday and on the 4x and everything would be good to go.

He was going to open up for Q & A but I couldn't keep my appoinment waiting any longer so I didn't hear the rest. Great Call. I hope they post it on the site tomorrow so we can all hear it again. ROL is right on track and obviously Free Dinar is reading and watching us. Getting alot of infor from all our wonderful people. Dan and his office had been up all night searching and was really tired, just like all the rest of us especially SGS....don't you just love it. Oh, he was also talking about their wanting to go back to the $3.00 and $4.00 rates and were pushing to position themselves for that in the near future.
