Bush and Maliki telephone discussing the security situation and political P Iraq

Washington 29 9 (KUNA) -- The White House announced that President George W. Bush held a telephone conversation today with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, "which renewed the commitment of the United States to support Maliki and the democratically elected government."

He said White House spokesman Tony Snow, in a meeting with reporters here that "Iraqi Prime Minister expressed his confidence in President Bush and the relationship that binds the United States his country."

He added that Bush and Maliki discussed "the security situation in Iraq and efforts to strengthen security in the capital, Baghdad, as well as the political process and the need to make further progress in the political reconciliation and development process."

He pointed out that Snow had praised President Bush carefully Maliki coordination is working with the American army and civilian leaders in Iraq also expressed his sincere wishes of the owners of the occasion of the month of Ramadan.

Know one knows for sure. Sometime during this mysterious curfew would seem to be like an opportune moment.

Curfew ends sunday morning in Iraq, so if they make an annoumcement before 12 am Sunday 10/1 Iraq time when the curfew ends (they did not give a specific time for the end of the curfew just sunday morning). that would be 1pm saturday 9/30 here in los angeles, or 4 pm in est.

If not before the curfew ends, then it will be sometime real soon!
