The news came after the Parliament the parliamentary session for the failure to reach agreement on the reverse-Hashimi of the electoral law, following political blocs failed to reach a solution and the tendency to withdraw Hashemi to set aside the law.
However, parliamentary sources revealed to the Agency (UR) on the proposed amendment to the electoral law agreed upon by the political blocs, and said the proposal was accepted by the Kurdistan Alliance and the Accordance Front, refused, as he Siqdm share of seats in the home. The sources said that a formula for amending the election law on Sunday and ensure the right of majority in Iraq's migrants abroad who will have the same right enjoyed by Iraqis at home.
She added that those rights will not be part of compensatory quota but within national quota, as well as for minorities, it will take their provinces of the same leaving a share of compensation by the (5%) on any position by (16) seat for all of Iraq and those seats will go to the winning lists on the percentage of seats obtained in the elections.
She said the majority of the members of the House with this amendment will be voted on today in order to be returned to the presidency, and if vetoed again by Hashemi, there is a clear majority in the House to reply again and then the law becomes effective.
She expressed the hope to draw the vice president vetoed the bill on to ending the matter, noting that negotiations on this matter are continuing and if it does not withdraw the veto of the law it will force the House to move toward the amendment agreed upon by members of the House and whether patients have or not.
The session saw the House of Representatives today an attempt by some lawmakers to prevent the meeting a vote of no entry to the auditorium, said MP Ahmad al-Anwar, member of parliament for the Kurdistan Alliance bloc that a number of House members do not want to enter meeting of the Council, despite their presence in the corridors of the parliament, pointing out "The number of deputies in the Parliament more than a quorum, but Inside the meeting room less than a quorum, which can be debated topic aside the election law. "He pointed to the existence of political reasons behind the lack of entry of the meeting hall where many members do not want to finish this issue and some of them wants to appear on T.elevision and discuss the issue only to promote himself for the upcoming elections.
He said that the House of Representatives who abstain from entering the meeting that their goal is not discussion of the topic in the meeting of the Council but must be completed in a sub-committee meet to resolve or one proposal is presented in the meeting for the purpose of voting upon, and not to make suggestions and multiple solutions that would mean the absence of consensus makes resort to the parliament majority and the minority, there will be no winner and a loser and a winner and loser, and if entered the parliament in the tunnel means it will not be resolved by consensus, would be the law, to veto a second time under Article (138) by Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi, And thus enter the parliament and the veto Anakaudhat cycle leads to Iraq's entry into a constitutional vacuum and the postponement of elections and this is what does not serve the political process and the electoral process in the country.
