Director of the American company talking about his experiences in Iraq and stresses: Iraq is a poor country but has the potential to become rich."

The first indication that Christopher "Kiefer" Anders is not just a chief executive is a normal-caliber automatic pistol 9 mm, which falls from the right side.

"Regardless of the situation today has not changed our security measures since 2007, when violence was here at its peak," Thus says the CEO of state. No. S. G during a tour in the yard of the company in Baghdad where Iraqi workers to transfer cargo containers neglected to residential units The temporary storage rooms.

And looked at his gun a few moments and then smiled, saying, "I did not had never used until now."

Anders accompanied by two bodyguards each carrying a gun and are always passing by a certain distance from the Chief Executive and eyes spin in every direction constantly.

Some things have not changed for a U.S. contractor based in Iraq that have been taken over the past six years, but - like Iraq - a major transition.

And the state. Any. S. G 500 employees 80 percent of them Iraqis.

The company provides construction services, security and availability of food, water and waste disposal services to a contractor and the sole U.S. military. But seven years after the US-led invasion to topple Saddam Hussein close to the U.S. army to reduce the number of troops in Iraq by half to 50 thousand troops are gearing up in 2011 to leave Iraq - calm sectarian strife, to a large extent, but the attacks and bombings are still a fact of life Journal.

For any. Any. S. G - and is headquartered in Baghdad - and other similar companies with 100 thousand contractors in Iraq, this means looking for a new source of revenue.

Anders said "The choice is clear for those contractors who were able to continue until now ... either find a commercial activity or to leave."

As is the case for Iraq, the group is betting on the oil industry.

Iraq has the third largest known reserves of oil in the world and the current government has signed 11 agreements for the development of ambitious oil wells with major companies such as Royal Dac Shell and Italy's Eni, Exxon Mobil and Occidental Petroleum, KOGAS, South Korea. It is theoretically expected to raise these agreements Iraq to second place among oil-producing countries of the Centre are currently ten atheist and enhance production capacity of over seven years to 12 million barrels per day - which is slightly less than the production capacity of Saudi Arabia - compared with 2.5 million.

But what if Iraq can achieve this goal, or that should have originally sought to the two questions unanswered This quantity of oil enough to pay the prices down. But no doubt it is that it is being prepared to boost production significantly.

Samuel Sizok an energy analyst with any. IHS. Global Insight, "most people believe them and I am very optimistic that Iraq is in its objectives, but some see that it was too optimistic ... but unless there are problems in Iraq, then (production) is enormous."

"What other way to say it .. It's huge."

And were in fact major oil companies and service companies affiliated to Iraq or are on their way to that and prepare for huge projects to repair oil infrastructure and export facilities obsolete in Iraq by raising production capacity.

For any. Any. S. G, this means a new activity. Kit is already working with organizations of the oil industry to end the proceedings recorded in Iraq in order to provide the same services provided by the U.S. military, Iraq is still a place is unsafe.

Anders said "These companies want to know how they can implement these contracts without fear of exposure to risk ... and here comes our role."

The oil agreements also attracted the attention of other investors because it could be the spark necessary to launch a broader investment in all aspects of the economy.

Sethna said the Basel head office of Northern Gulf Investment Corporation Partners in Baghdad, "the oil contracts in Iraq raised the profile of the global business community ... When people see large companies a huge sign agreements to invest in Iraq, this puts the country on the map of the right investment."

Sethna said that this concern reflects the fact that after decades of war and sanctions, Iraq "needs almost everything." This may mean that infrastructure projects, hundreds of billions of dollars.

"Iraq is a poor country but has the potential to become rich."

Talabani: The worst democracy is better than the best dictatorship in the world

President Jalal Talabani of Iraq that Worst democracy is better than the best dictatorship in the world. Talabani added during an extended meeting with his London-based Al-Hayat newspaper published Saturday I think that Iraq can not live without the Constitution. Composition of national and religious and social imperative of constitutional rule, and without the constitutional provision is difficult to rule Iraq and difficult to live in Iraq.

He pointed out that even if the renewal of the mandate of this time four years, "then I will go back to my home. It is not permissible for renewal only once according to the Constitution, The tradition that the Iraqi President remains head of the only two sessions."

He asserted that the prime minister is open and the Presidency of the parliament are open, but the presidency is restricted. He pointed out that Iraq can not live without the Constitution. Composition of national and religious and social imperative of constitutional rule, and without the constitutional provision is difficult to rule Iraq and difficult to live in Iraq, especially without freedom. Formerly it was in Iraq under the dictatorship by brute force, police force, army and martial law. But, now, where democracy and public liberties can not control the situation only in democracy and the national agreement and by virtue of the constitution.

But he denied that democratic Iraq, be strong only if the two things are essential, namely the application of the Constitution and the rule of achieving a national consensus and national partnership real. Iraq has all the power supplies, people, culture and capabilities, and has a huge wealth of undiscovered resources, except oil and gas and minerals, so Iraq could be transformed into a tiger from the Asian tigers.

In foreign relations as well, when he did not admire the presidency some situations, silent, except in one position intervened, I mean the relationship with Syria, where indicated a different attitude about the position of prime minister.

And about who is the head of the Iraqi president that WazzraqalThe brothers in Iran after the elections were in favor of the end of 2005 to renew the mandate of Dr. Ibrahim al-Jaafari, but did not become prime minister, was also Iran against Iraqi security agreement - the U.S., however, has been signed.

He said we do not have a strategic alliance agreement with Iran until today, but no one noticed. No one in the Arab world, is worth mentioning that Iraq has signed a strategic agreement with Turkey and Egypt did not sign any agreement with Iran. However, all the talk about the accusations of Iranian influence in Iraq.

And that competition between the Turkish - Iranian in Iraq Old ... Since the era of the Abbasids and the Safavids and the Ottomans, and before that.

On the Syrian role in Iraq, he said: We wanted to be an effective Syrian role in Iraq. When we have supported us in opposition to Syria, President Hafez al-Assad Allah's mercy was one of the strongest supporters of us. We supported this man in time of grief and distress, which no one recognizes us. It was not any country give us a visa. Syria and our fellow Ahtermtna and supported us with money and weapons.

He said he did not stay but an Iraqi official went to Syria to improve relations, but did not happen. The points of contention with Damascus about party «Baath» as well as the issue of infiltration of terrorists from Syria to Iraq and the position of the American presence. Brothers in Syria believe that the U.S. presence at risk for them and occupied Iraq with American troops are in Japan and South Korea, Qatar and a number of Arab countries, and brotherhood in Syria are dealing with as independent states. The brothers Iranians And they understand the Iraqi reality.

He asked from Syria and they also asked. Asked to block the terrorists and stop the events that take place against Iraq. Did not object to the presence of political (opposition), but the presence of TV stations, for example, calls for war on Iraq and teach people how to use car bombs. Brothers in Syria have responded and stopped some activities, but continued to infiltrate. The Syrian government says that the border is long and can not be blocked all the ports, and this is true to some extent, but the Iraqi government claims that it could close the door to hackers.

And that we requested of national reconciliation and drive out foreign forces. Did not ask for more.

And Izzat al-Duri said that the Device Information says that the Iraqi official Izzat al-Duri moving between Iraq and Syria.

On the role of the party «Baath» big role in the recent bombing attacks said - I think not. I think that a larger role for the «base» and related organizations, but «Baath» a role by the Alliance of Izzat al-Duri and his group with the resistance factions.

And revealed that he was not eager to run for the presidency. Adding:Many have tried to convince me to run again. Even the National Union party, some of them say that the president has no powers, and that the party was losing when you go. I have not any publicity, and any effort towards the post. I said: If the Iraqis brothers want me to run for the post are most welcome, otherwise, centrally located in Sulaymaniyah as secretary general of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. All the blocs that won (in elections) said that she wants me to this stage, and that my presence is necessary

Allawi's likely withdrawal from the race-Maliki government. Haider al-Abadi: The Iraqi connection with bombings on polling day

Accused of a senior Dawa Party, as the Iraqi List in connection with bombings on the last election, at the time scoffed at news of the party's intention to withdraw from the Maliki government, presidential race, but a member of the bloc rivals Ayad Allawi was considered the withdrawal option, "likely" for the owners.

The source asked not to be named, told the "World" "The option of withdrawal of al-Maliki as possible, especially since al-Maliki does not have the approval and acceptance, whether internally or externally, as well as Iran's refusal to him, and therefore have no choice but to abandon the nomination for the post presidency of the government."

To the expectation of Aldenbos Adnan, a member of the Iraqi List, the script give al-Maliki for the nomination to the presidency of the next government is "likely" during the current period.

In a statement to "the world" said Aldenbos that "belief tends to adopt a scenario of compromise during the current period, especially since al-Maliki faced a reservation by the Sadrists and Iraqi about his nomination to head the next government."

But Haider Ajawarni member of coalition rule of law, expressed surprise at the statements that refer to the intention of al-Maliki to abandon his candidacy and said, "surprised by these comments that we consider to be some sort of media fabrication designed to raise doubts about the character of al-Maliki."

The source told "the world" that Maliki is still the only candidate of a coalition of law will not give up on this matter.

The Prince Kanani, secretary general of the Liberal Movement of the Sadrist movement, sees the "possible" to abandon Maliki's nomination for prime minister if he found the road "dead end" to the possibility of obtaining it.

Explains the "world" "Either the party chooses a call to be confined to the post of prime minister, tags, by providing a candidate other than Maliki's office or go to the other candidate from outside the Dawa Party," he says.

On the other hand, contrary to talk of a meeting soon brings together leaders of the "coalition of law" and "Iraqi List" Iyad Allawi, the launch command in the "Dawa" and "a coalition of law," Haidar Abadi, a scathing attack on the "Iraqi List", accusing the groups of nearby "Al Qaeda" and "Baath" of being behind the bombings that took place on the parliamentary elections on March 7 last year.

Abbadi said the dialogue with the newspaper "Al-Nahar", Lebanese "hard to close from the bombings of them (Iraq), and they Qaeda and Baathist groups of close them."

Iraqi resistance leader says ready to talk to U.S.

U.S. administration officials have negotiated with a major Iraqi resistance group but the talks failed due to mounting differences, an Iraqi resistance leader says.

In an online interview with Azzaman, Abdulla Al-Hafidh, spokesman for the United Islamic Front, said the U.S. put pre-condition for the resistance groups to lay down their weapons before the withdrawal of its troops.

“The negotiations broke down quickly because of U.S. maneuvering. They put forward unfair conditions. They wanted (us) to lay down our weapons before the withdrawal and not after it,” said Hafidh.

He said had the U.S. accepted his group’s condition, many other armed factions fighting U.S. occupation troops would have joined the talks.

Hafidh’s group is one of the largest resistance factions outside al-Qaeda in Iraq. He said his group was in alliance with numerous other armed factions which he did not name.

Hafidh was critical of al-Qaeda. He said its aims, actions and tactics were detrimental to Iraqi national interests.

He said al-Qaeda entered and entrenched in Iraq following the chaos that accompanied the 2003-U.S. invasion of the country.

Al-Qaeda had its stronghold in major Sunni towns and initially it obtained large-scale support in Sunni-dominated areas.

But Hafidh said the group was “undisciplined” and embarked on a killing spree which spared no one including the Sunnis.

U.S. troops, despite their military might, could not fight off al-Qaeda in Iraq. The group was contained when Sunni Arab tribes agreed to form militias which the U.S. financed and armed.

Hafidh said Sunni tribes mobilized 80,000 armed tribesmen which the U.S. used to fight its battle against al-Qaeda.

The tribesmen formed what is still locally known as al-Sahwa (Awakening) Forces.

“The Sahwa Forces fell into the U.S. lap and the tribesmen themselves are now target of liquidation (by the Americans and others). They are hunted down on false allegations,” Hafidh said.

He said members of the Sahwa have turned into the enemy instead of al-Qaeda.

But Hafidh said his group still opposed al-Qaeda and was against its so-called “Islamic State of Iraq.”

He said resistance groups had no problem obtaining weapons due to large popular support they enjoy in many parts of the country.

Most of the weapons in resistance groups’ hands come from the depots of the former Iraqi army, he said.

He said Iraqi resistance has drawn a 100-day plan to fight U.S. occupation troops and Iraqi forces.

“Every day we shall announce via media a video of our operations targeting the occupation in Iraqi streets. This campaign will continue 100 days. It is part of our plan … until the last U.S. soldier leaves Iraqi soil,” he said.

Considered a coalition led by Iyad Allawi, the Iraqi postpone ratification of the election results "a deliberate attempt" to give the coalition the rule of law, national and more time to save the alliance after the electoral failure in resolving the consensus candidate for prime minister.

A member of the Iraqi Shaker book, "The postponement is intended to gain time and to prevent the meeting of parliament as long as possible to give greater opportunity for coalitions to save the alliance, especially after the recent foot-dragging and the differences that emerged between them in recent times," he said.

For his part, said a source in the National Alliance, who preferred anonymity said, "will next week hold an important meeting of the National Coalition is on the selection of one candidate from among the two or three of its members to compete with state law, a candidate for the post of prime minister from within the new alliance."

He pointed to the high chances of Adel Abdul Mahdi, leader of the "Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council" by 22 seats against other rivals.

He said that "Abdul Mahdi is the closest to these preliminaries being supported by the party holds more than 20 seats within the coalition ... In the event required a prime minister, according to the agreed points, to a greater number of seats it is easy alliance with another component to achieve that."

Iraqi economic: decline of the euro will give a major boost for Iraqi cash

Economist on behalf of Abdul-Hadi, the decline witnessed by the euro in global markets will have a positive impact and negative at the same time the Iraqi economy.

Abdul-Hadi said the positive impact lies in the fact that the foreign reserves in Iraq as a whole dollar, adding that the price of the dollar against the depreciation of the euro will increase the purchasing power of the dollar, which constitutes the basis of precautions foreign in turn is likely to import more goods through price swap and exchange the same purchasing power especially goods from the European Union.

"Either the negative impact of the decline of the euro is limited in the price of a barrel of oil priced in spite of the dollar, but no link between the dollar and the euro being the two underlying currencies in the global economy leading to a possible decline in oil prices affect negatively on imports of Iraqi oil.

He noted that the decline of the euro is not atheism, pointing out that the treatment methods pursued by the European Union found promising pumped through and customize the size of subsidies to 120 billion dollars.

Abizaid and Abdul Hadi waiting for the impact of treatment by the European Union and can be reflected in the global economy and oil prices generally, because the long-term decline rates without the natural oil will affect the Iraqi budget.
