But just think of all the fabulous food we will be eating! Just like Rachel Ray! We have been watching here show. On and off in the shelters, just licking our chops. We've been like man, oh man. If she cannot eat on $ 40.00 a day! Try .40 to a $1.40 a day! My family and I live on under $ 2.00 a day for food. Mind you all, that we have 5 people in our family. So it's been tough, but once this thing hits. Our sleeping boxes will be, nice NEW strong and store bought ones! Oh yes, the USA what a great country! (NOT)
I don't know about the rest of you but I have a real problem with people from other countries bad mouthing mine.

I realize that we have our faults but I am a proud American and I really doubt that there is another country that does more than we do for the rest of the planet.

That is a few times I have seen you talk bad about my country and our citizens.

If you are not an American in my opinion you don't have any right to bad mouth me or my countrymen. Good Day and God Bless.

As far as taxes go....when this happens....Hire a professional. It's really as simple as that.

Hello iam a new member here! Already i have read a lot & learned a bunch as well thank you Tiff and Mike your input is knowledge . I have purchased dinars from several sites as well . Is there possibilitys to have the taxes for the IRS taken out directly at the time of exchange or would this not be a good idea? Any thoughts from members will be appreciated........thanks John

Can't find the site for Taxes for Dinar...
I spoke to my CPA today re: what I would have to pay living in New York. He has not heard of the Dinar, but said if I am physically holding the currency, then the profit after cashing would not be capital gains, but ordinary income which would for any substantial amt of profit,be about 48% in Federal Tax, + City & State taxes of around 11%. When I purchased my Dinar, I was never sent paper work on it, such as date of purchase, amt. purchased & cost. Now my dealer seams to have vanished...
My acct. said he would check it out further once I was ready to exchange the Dinar, however I would like to know now. This is a big difference 15% to 48%. Would anyone have any information about this, and also not having any proof of purchase...

Foreign currency transactions. If you have a gain on a personal foreign currency transaction because of changes in exchange rates, you do not have to include that gain in your income unless it is more than $200. If the gain is more than $200, report it as a capital gain.
