Fedex Express wants to deal with Iraq’s official bodies
Fedex Express has asked to deal with official bodies in Iraq, asserting that the most difficult challenges when its aircrafts enter the Iraqi airspace.
This came during its participation in JetEx Fair 2010 in Dubai, attended by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
FedEx had announced the suspension of its services in and out of Iraq last year, citing the agreement that the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority and Iraqi Airways made with Rus Aviation to control all cargo in and out of Iraq, and the detrimental effect it has had on their operations.
Move One’s services in and out of Iraq are unaffected, as we use Ethiad, who also have an agreement with the Iraqi authorities. We will keep this post updated as more news comes through.
