Never been to IIF, don't even know where it is, but you people are getting a little insane. What exactly makes you think you can just "wich" money into existence, which is what a revaluation of the IRD would be doing? There is no underlying basis for the currency to be at it's present level, which is why it's not traded, more less 1400 times what it is now. Do you even know what you're proposing here?
Are you the same people who thought BM was minting money in a secret trading room?

And by the way, wealthy Iraqis looking for places outside Iraq to invest their money is hardly encouraging news for the economy in Iraq. The fact that they're looking for places to put their money outside the country is a sign they don't feel safe at home.

No, it means their economy is actually improving. The fact that they have enough money to invest anywhere is an accomplishment in itself. There are many people from the US, UK, and many other countries investing in the Iraqi Stock Market and many more waiting to get in. Does this mean that these people don't feel safe in their respective countries?
