I am certainly not the expert here,but as far as i can tell nothing drastic has changed,except for the currency converter doing some really weird things!I checked the eur/iqd and it wasn,t there.I checked it again and it was there.Then again and not there.Hope all this means something good is about to happen!!

Iraq puts stop order on all USD wire transfers

Hi all,

I tried to transfer USD 500 to my Warka account today.

My bank told me they couldn't complete the transfer becuase Iraq has put a stop order on USD wire transfers as of this week!

Although strangely they did say I could try eruos.

Has anyone else had this problem in the past?

I have a warka account and have recieved no emails from Warka and haven't sent a wire transfer for months. You may want to email warka and ask why the wire transfers have stopped. I wouldn't expect a reply for a couple of days.

I just wired money to fund my account Sept 7...so far I've had really good service...emails are answered in 1-2 days...I got confirmation that my account was funded and that my stocks would be purchased. I would say all in all there were at least 5 emails I sent that they responded to--within the space of about 1 week. Much better than I thought it would be.
Of course there was a mistake on the balance of funds remaining in the account. I started with over 2mil dinars, ordered 750k of stocks, and they say after purchase I have 256321,000--I have no idea how much that is...can't be over two mil, but then it cant be 250k...I sent an email a couple of days ago and no response yet...with the latest doesn't sound like I'll be getting a response anytime soon...That's okay, I dont' mind....
