I hope that we hear something differnet that can be verified, but as far as i can tell there is nothing. Systems are quoting the prices, it all seems to be geared up now that any change taht is made can be uploaded to anywhere in the world in the blink of an eye. All we need to see now is that it actually happens, how we will find out i still think will be some sort of announcement. I really don't think they will just put it out there, because the vast majoriity need to know why it just went up so much. Really if they did this, how many people that have never heard of the Dinar are going to come out and bash the whole system, and try to say that it is still worthless. If you think about it, it is in our best interest for the Iraqi's to come out with the IMF and the World Bank and say this is what we have done and why! They need to drum up investment business from more than just the Oil COmpanies. Banks outside of Iraq need to be confident to do the trades, becasue they have the most to loose. If they ust paid be 1:1 they need to know 100% that they already have it sold to someoneo else becasue if it goes back to 1:1465 overnight there are banks that would go broke.

I think they may be quoting the ICB auction numbers for reference only, as they do not auction enough quantity to put it on a functioning exchange.

Actually, if you look, I didn't bring it up or mention it until someone flat asked me "what qualification do you have to....." and I said, rather non chlantly that I happen to have read economics, and at one of the finest schools in the world for it, even if I think they were all leftists, they still teach montarism and Keynesian theory pretty well. Of course the think more highly if Mr Keynes that I do, but you don't have to agree with someones theory to be intriuged by it. I mean Y=C-S is a pretty basic statement, and I assure you it is true IN ALL SITUATIONS, but how to influence C and S is something ti takes years of work to do right, and it never is done right because it's not politically feasible to do it right. Mao, Stalin, and GW Bush have all learnt this the hard way.

That's Lovely dear but, most don't want opinion or book smart (although I Love BOOKS!)..I am more inclined to also read between the lines of these new's posts...factual or not..You must Especially think that from a forum that has a light and easy attitude must you think that you are the one to open the eyes of the already divine right.
