Why do you feel the need to "call you out on your rumors"? A rumor is just what someone has heard and passed on. It does not matter how it is worded in my opinion - it was told as a rumor, end of story!

Briefly: Threat to Green Zone over, lockdown ends
    Reuters, The Associated Press

    Published: October 1, 2006

BAGHDAD A nervous normality returned to the Iraqi capital Sunday after the lifting of an extreme 24-hour curfew that was imposed after U.S. troops arrested a top politician's bodyguard suspected of a plot to bomb the heavily fortified Green Zone.

The curfew was lifted at 6 a.m., and traffic converged on central Baghdad's busy streets as shops and businesses reopened.

Though curfews have become part of life here, on Saturday all movement, even on foot, was banned, disrupting the social life normally associated with the holy month of Ramadan.
On Friday, U.S. troops arrested a security guard at the home of the leader of the main Sunni Arab political bloc, Adnan al-Dulaimi. They said the man planned suicide attacks in the Green Zone and may have had links to Al Qaeda. (Reuters)

Who needs a curfew in Baghadad if the small denoms have been distributed safetly to their new homes. Clear the streets, let the convoys thru . .. then open them up . . .

I ought to write childrens books . . .hopefully they will all have a happy ending

Sure is nice they can find the time to do this while the rest of the country eats dirt.
