Totally understand the only child thing, I'm IT also! My mom moved in with me about 2 years ago. She came to live with us, as she was a little down on her luck, and we are all that she has. I know it has been a rough time, for her, as learning to live with me, hubby, and 3 little girls has had its trials. She is very independant, and loves her privacy, (which she doesn't get much of here). She has looked for work, and managed to find a part time job, that pays her minimum wage, so not much of nothing. When this thing hits, I want to buy the property next to us, bulldoze the house that is on it, and build her a place of her own. That way she is still close, but has her privacy. She deserves it, as she took care of me all those years after her and my dad divorced.

And I am all in for meeting at the I.H.O.P. Did you know, they don't have one of those around here, so can't wait to try the food!
