Thank goodness for the Kurds! We would be up a creek without them. They know how to get things done. Imagine how frustrated they must be.

The news coming out about salaries, I think Neno explained it very well. The salaries are part of the restructure program. I think they have to structure the salaries first, pensions and other kind of stuff. This will be done rapidly if I see how quickly they are doing everything right now. It is not what we wanted to see but it still progress and progress is improvement.

Knowing that the Hydrocarbon Law is on the table, the FIL is passed, an trade agreement with the EU will be signed soon we have to see an improvement.

No one knows how high it will be or when it will happen, but I still believe time is running out not only because of the pressure of the Americans but mainly because of the high inflation.

We must stay positive. Our day will come!
I agree with you.....everybody calm down.....We have read the articles, we know the facts.....don't let an article or 2 cloud your enthusiasm about the hundreds of great positive articles we have read. I believe we will still start at the 1.47 .... Don't go jumping on the negative bandwagon. Remember, they most likely will put the reval into effect and then announce it to avoid chaos....Hey, just last week before Condi got there many were convinced nothing was going to happen anytime soon.... It only takes ONE announcement or seeing it on the CBI page to reval .... So, kick that negativity and depression over to where it belongs .....that other place....Get excited guys we are going to reval soon and high....everything points to it....so come on kick up the good karma and vibes.....

Could it be 6 months from now? well....yes. "6 MONTHS?? The Iraqi's are starving!" Yes they are, but.... We have NO idea what goes on behind closed doors. Everyone needs to keep their chins up. Anyone who lurks over at IIF have you read any of Paynes (I think thats his name) posts. He has some great thoughts on what might happen (all positive) My point is.... Everyone who is in this investment, on this forum has a belief, otherwise we would not be here. There are people who have alot more smarts than I do who are pro investors who are in this BIG TIME! Some of them are on this forum. I believe in the power of positive thinking, affirmation, and all of that. But this situation is a little different. Bottom line is This WILL happen, we just need to demonstrate some patience, and try not to jump on every little thing thinking that this is the day.

I know there are alot of Texans on this forum as well as others from Canada to Mexico that see and use the I35 Coridor.

I believe that Iraq is setting a standard for their country with this request of Modeled Year Automobile's. As you know you have seen for years on I35, a Junker Pulling or Towing another Junker to Mexico. I know this might not seem like much to others but to me, Iraq is setting "Standards" for the Countries Future.

Look at Mexico with all these Junkers going there constantly. Sure it is good for the Junk dealer at some point but, It also says alot for your Country IMHO.

Can you amagin a country with only 2005 and up Modeled Automobils. I believe the arverage Modern Auto here in the US will run $35,000.00 Low end. This goes to show me what this "Oil Country" is capable of having. Must also remember they have some of the Most Beautiful Castle's or Palaces eyes have ever seen. Paid for by "Oil".

RR, I know the kurds don't have a date but have they told you what they think about the debit cards and the amount given out at the current rates would affect their lives? Will it have any affect or is just a token gift in their opinion? Just wondering what the people over there think.

No disrespect Dann . . . but I'm on our local school board & that IS what we have to pay first years . . . to compete with our neighboring school districts . . . of course 99% of our teachers are Ivy grads, with ******* degrees . . .
