That would be MY thought GR. It would not only save them face by giving a gift to their population, but having the checks post-dated, it would buy the government extra time to get all their ducks in a row to be able to back those gifts financially.

So are you saying they open the Forex at 12 o'clock in the NIGHT?!? Between Sunday and Monday? Because that would be 7 hours before 17.00 EST...but it seems strange that they open in the middle of the night?
But if they open at 12 noon (am and pm results difficult when it is exactly 12...I never know if you mean in the night (so 12.01 would still be a.m.) or at noon (so 12.01 would be p.m...)) it would be around 05.00, or 5.00 a.m., EST... I think?

Remember somewhere it was theorized that Iraq may first have an Internal Reval. Not knowing what that means exactly, my common sense says, purely within Iraq. Testing the waters to see how it affects the population as opposed the to 'Market'.

SGS and others who have contacts over there - I would advise them to hold the check. Here in the USA a check can be held for 6 months before it is outdated. If they wait to cash it in it would be worth more when it does hit the External Market - NO? Just thinking out loud.

Ok, so you are saying that your step son is confirming war crimes against civilains? If so you should report him and everyone involved. I for one do not get to Pi@@ed at anyones opinion but this is BS. Speaking as a VET i can assure you that this is not the case. For something like this to occur it would start as orders from the top. NOT going to happen! I can assure you that when I went out on a mission the orders were precise or I had to call for permission to take out a target. I am not trying to start anything but I do not agree that our troops are doing this!

Brain is your stepson in the military? I just can't believe that the fine young men and women in the armed forces would do that. Two of my sons friends are overthere and I know them personally and they two of the best young men I know. I know troop bashing doesn't work here. Try an Air America call in show, oh yea they just filed bankruptcy.

Funny that that 18-23 year old "kids" are still partying and many on the verge of being criminal. Take those same "kids" and put them in the service, they become MEN and WOMEN. These are some of the most highly skilled people on the planet. Not just physically, but mentally as well. I am proud to be protected by these fine people. And though I consider myself a proud man, I wish I was half the MAN that our soldiers are. Other than my father being a vet, I have never been near or associated with military. However, I can't go to a ballgame and not get emotional when the men and women of our armed forces present the colors of this great country.
