You must be reading my mind. When someone needs a helping hand and someone else is in a position to do it, absolutely. Whether it's family, stangers or 'extended family' the season of giving should be eveyday of the year. Count me in.

hello everybody. I have a huge lump in my throat as I write this. I sympathize deeply with Karinc, as I now have a feeling I might not even make the mortgage, much less Christmas. Would it be utterly despicable of me to put my name with hers as a dinar family member in deep need? I'll even pay it all back as soon as my fortunes turn. ouch. this hurts.

I truely hope you are right Michael! If we don't see a larger reval after the FIL and HCL are inacted, then I'll start to worry. This is an all or nothing investment. We will either make a huge amount or loose it all. It all depends on the CBI's actions.

We are already at the point where we will break even at the very least. Those in need should consider selling if they cannot afford to meet basic needs.

Family before Dinar folks.... Family! You spent it hoping to cash in, well, reality is you may NEED to before you WANT to.... I don't want this to turn into a charity thread....

this is what made the initial posting so terribly difficult.
cashing in the dinar I have right now would scarely make a dent, monsieur scrooge. thank you for the kindly advice.

I agree, although I have no problem with helping another I can't save the world.

I do sympathize with all in need but now that I see these postings I have to ask myself is it right to allow these postings? Maybe this is a bad idea as this will become a charity board and those with a philanthropist heart will be discouraged to contribute because of the increased number of request for a hand out. There are many welfare programs in the US which can help those who are in need as well as ways to deal with mortgage companies when a mortgage becomes past due. I will be happy to contribute my time through PM in helping you locate the service in your area that will help you if you are unable to do so yourself.
It's truly unbelieveable that one would overextend themselves for a very risky investment, what will be your position if there is no pay-off?
