I HATE air conditioning, and LOVE the heat!!! The hotter, the better! :) This summer has been absolutely fabulous, much warmer than normal here in Sweden; around 90 F. When there is air conditioning, I have to put a sweater on! Especially in the US because there they turn it on full speed (at least my friends)
On the other hand, WORKING in the heat may not be so nice...and AC at MODERATE cooling can be good... I am at home and have a big garden - with a pool! So for me it can get as hot as it wants - I don't mind! LOL
But I guess for us up here in the north it's more important with the sun and warmth in summer, since we have to live through a long DARK winter (the sun is up maybe five hours / day in winter) at sometimes 10F below zero...

i really doubt that hillary or bill clinton have purchased 100,000.00 worth of
dinar. they would have to disclose this on next years tax/disclosure form.
it wouldn"t look too good for her run for presidency in 2008 (unless she had
their personal lawyer go to switzerland for a secret swiss bank account as
vince foster did in the 80's)

Choochie, its air conditioned where I work but none of my previous jobs had air con. It doesn't usually get THIS hot so we don't really need air con but methinks when I move into my swanky new pad after the peg - i'll buy a unit or two just in case this 'global warming' summer happens again.

Hey Tiff, you can keep those little monsters as well LOL. I haven't got a garden, so sleeping outside in the nuddie is a no no for me. Humm theres always the local park bench ... but I think I mught get arrested.

Karinc - don't get me wrong, I love the heat too but it's extra hot for me because my flat gets really cold in the winter and holds the heat like you wouldn't believe in the Summer.

All my friends start screaming "its too hot in here" when they come in and i'm usually like "huh, wot" as I don't notice.

But boy have I been noticing it recently, its like walking into a flat will the central heating turned on full blast when its also 100% in the shade outside.

Airco like Inverter systems are the ones you should have installed KarinC... thats the kind that have filters for the air and quality and it warms your rooms and chills your burnt out butt from staying too long outside...

Translation Yogi: "No mossies down my end" means "There are no mosquitos anywhere near where I live". Well, I am a Londoner and my speach is a mixture of Cockney and English I suppose. So my 'end' is quite safe thank you very much!!

OK, then - lets have it with ice this time.
