Just called another Chase here in Chicago area, and she told me that all Chase banks stopped 2 weeks ago. LOL - what is going on here?
Can someone give me a phone number to one of these banks, so I can call one and maybe they can help me purchase here in Chicago, thanks.

I would suggest just walking into one, if you are relatively close to one. Customer service can really be hit or miss on the phone. It really depends on how good (or bad) of a day the person you're speaking with is having, and how busy they might be at that given time. It's very easy for someone to say, "No", without checking.
It's harder for them to turn you away if you're physically right in front of them. They can't claim to not know what you're talking about if they seem like they are unwilling to help you, and you go to complain.
Bottom line is, they are selling them, if they are a foreign currency exchange branch. So just walk on in, acting like you've done it a hundred times before, and you should be okay.Four years ago... no, it was yesterday. Today I... No, that wasn't me. Sometimes I... No, I don't.

I remember hearing the teller I was working with say that they were a foreign currency exchange branch, when she was on the phone with whoever she had to call to verify that they could sell Dinar.
What I would do, if you're unsure, is call up your chase banks that you'd go to, and just ask them the broad question of, "Do you sell foreign currency?"... If they say "yes", then you know they're a foreign currency exchange branch. If not, move on to the next one on your list.
I could be completely wrong on this - Maybe all branches are foreign currency exchange branches, but then that makes me wonder why my teller even said that when she was on the phone to whomever she was speaking to. I don't know.
Start with the general question to the branches, and go from there.Four years ago... no, it was yesterday. Today I... No, that wasn't me. Sometimes I... No, I don't.

Picked up order today at my Chase bank
I picked up my 3rd order from my Chase bank today. I ordered them on Wednesday. It sounds to me like some of the Chase banks are just being lazy and don't want to work for you. Keep them in mind and when you do get your order placed, don't deal with them when it comes time to cashing in.
When it comes time to cashing in, there maybe a restriction. The head teller told me they have a 5k restriction but wasn't sure if it was on the purchase side or the cashing in side or both. I told her that if it was on the cashing in side, they better be able to give change for a 25k dinar!!!
worfAre we there yet? I'm getting really tired of waiting and I am getting wet from all of the dribbling. Come on you know it is the right thing to do for your country. R/V the thing in 1 large dramtic move to over 1 usd at least (1 sdr will be fine for a start) will ya?

I posted in another thread Weds that I had ordered from Chase for the 1st time. Recommend like the others that you just walk in. When I went to the receptionist to tell her what I wanted, she just referred me to the teller. Smooth transaction. This was Weds. They told me it would be in by 3 the next afternoon. I was out of town yesterday, but they called my house to let me know my "order" was in. Very easy to deal with. I paid the same rate as posted previously.
Someone posted "why not buy on E-Bay" Why would you want to if there is a Chase in your area?
No fee, next day svc w/out overnight charges, and you are dealing with a legitimate financial institution. I wish this would have been available when I first started investing. I would have a lot more Dinar based on the prices I was paying.

What do the Forum members think about all these different responses from various banks. Is this Dinar event so unique that we are breaking new ground or maybe training has not started until a revalue / peg actually happens.
Banks don't normally give out false or misleading information, do they?
Do these banks know something that we don't like if the Dinar will actually revalue. I am not a naysayer for I have many Dinar but have wondered at these responses from the banks.
