I asked at HSBC some time ago but they hadn't got a clue what I was talking about...mind you I do live in the sticks!

Will try Travelex again, you never know. I don't mind a trip to the airport if I can get cash.

Just wanted to post an update. I just picked up my order from Chase Bank. As stated previously, I ordered 100K Dinar. My order arrived, and I opened it up to see what they gave me as far as denominations go. I ended up getting four 25K notes - They look slightly used, but in pretty good condition, nonetheless. Almost like they have seen one wallet in between printing, and ending up in my posession.

Thanks for the update..I called the Chase Bank that is by me the same day you order yours.The question I asked was do you sell foriegn currency the answer was yes but they do not sell Iraqi Dinars..I told them this was new and that same people I know had purchsed them from a Chase bank.But they still said they dont sell them..This is all funny though because about a month ago I called the downtown branch and asked if they sold foriegn currency and the lady told me no..When I asked the lady at the local branch she didn't even bat an eye about them selling foriegn currency.. I think this week I'm just going to go in there and try to buy them..sorry to keeping going on about this thanks for the update again if I go I'll let everyone know how it goes....

Just got back from chase, ordered on saturday,picked up tuesday morning.

I requested all small denoms, recieved all 25k notes in unc, except for what appears to be a series of staples on the sides, anyone else get there dinars like this?

I just got 5 25k notes today also from chase. This time they were uncirculated and in sequense. Well there is a first for everything.

Most of the time I got staples like wholes too. But I have gotten to know the Bank Manager and ask to use that light they use to see hidden security features. Yep they are there. This was the first time i got them the next day. Ordered Yesterday Morning and got my call this morning. Also requested Small denom's and got 25k's. It is cool they it's all money.

You need to go in. And if they say they dont. Tell the to see their teller table. Most of these Branches dont even know that they do have it. They all come out of JPMorgan Chase Manhatten. That is the Main Office of all Chases. I promise they all do it. They just dont know.

Thats what I figured too.Was just go in there I think I saw somewhere esle a teller at a branch gave there # and said have them call here and she would walk them through it..I 'll have to remember where it was at..Everything just kinda runs together..And thanks again!!!

read some of my past posts and you will see how ridiculously some of these bankers are, ei, I talked to the head of the main currency branch in all of chicago, and she told me they do not deal with them, cmon .... lazy/morons
