Iraqi Investments Club
Interesting,
No doubt about it, most want to get out of debt once and for all, myself included. Always nice to see so many wanting to help their families out as well, so I see we really do have a great bunch of like minded caring and sharing people here, and I like that.
Fortunately, I have had most of me dream vehicles over the years, but I do want more freedom to travel as there are so many great places in the world I have yet to see. Most my trips have been business, so you only have limited time to take tours and see the sights, so I am looking forward to traveling more for leisure.
When economy starts to implode, then I will pick up another home or two, and in select locations to follow the seasons, escaping the cold and heat since I prefer a nice mid 70's climate personally. Love the water, so all my homes have to be near water, ocean preferred, lake house would be nice as well. Isn't it nice to dream again? Sure has been a fun ride to date, so I hope my patience doesn't run out in the last stretch. LOL
Good luck to all, Mike

It's been a while since anybody wrote in this thread!
I was sure I had posted here (since I LOVE to dream about that bright future ), but apparently I hadn't...
I guess EVERYBODY knows what I want to do...I have been wanting that for years now...and that is to build on to my house.
Also, to get debt free.
However, today, paying my bills and getting NOTHING left, I realized that the FIRST thing I will do is not the construction... Of course, I will do that asap, but all those "big" things will still take some time.
The first thing I will do is...
take a "small" amount to an exchanger and get cash in hand. Then go and get a hair cut (which I haven't had for almost a year, and then my mom paid! ). Then I will buy a new lipstick (my favourite colour is empty...can't afford a new one)... and go to a café with a friend to drink some tea...and out dancing with my boyfriend...take my kids out for dinner...
Small treats, but which I haven't enjoyed for a veeeery long time
(I would like to buy some new clothes, but want to lose some weight first! )
After that I would make an appointment to operate on my eyes (my sight) and another appointment at the dentist...
In short, take care of ME for a change...
/K
