It is the sword of the intellect. The sword that conquers the hearts and minds of people. The Quran says in Sura Nahl, chapter 16, verse 125:
“Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided. "[Noble Quran 16: 125]

. Increase in world religions from 1934 to 1984
An article in the Reader's Digest Almanac, Book of the Year 1986, revealed statistics of the increase in the world's major religions for half a century (1934 to 1984). This article also appeared in the magazine La Vérité Pleine. Leading the way was Islam, which grew 235%, while Christianity grew by only 47%. One wonders what war has taken place in this century that would have converted millions of people to Islam?

. Islam is the fastest growing religion in America and Europe
The fastest growing religion in America today is Islam. The fastest growing religion in Europe is Islam. What sword forces Western peoples to accept Islam in such large numbers?

Ramadan is a very special month for the Muslims, as in it Muslims around the world perform various types of worship, the most important of them being fasting. This fasting of Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam, mandatory upon all adolescents and adults who have the ability. Ramadan is also the month in which the first revelation came to the Prophet Muhammad, and thus is called the “Month of the Quran”.

    God says in the Quran:
“Fasting has been prescribed for you as it has been prescribed for those before you in order that you become of the God-conscious.” (Quran 2:183)

During Ramadan, Muslims try to adhere to three types of worship - three of the five pillars of the Islamic faith.

The first is Sawm, ie fasting. Throughout the month, most Muslims refrain from eating or drinking between dawn and sunset.

The second is Zakat, which is charity - they are encouraged to give 2.5% of their annual income during Ramadan.

The third is salat, which is to pray. Muslims are encouraged to pray five times a day. Traditionally, many also attend additional communal prayers, called Taraweeh, which take place every evening.

Muslims are also encouraged to read the entire Quran during the month of Ramadan. This is a time of spiritual concentration and deep contemplation.

    Eid al-Fitr.

After the 30 days of Ramadan comes Eid al-Fitr.

This great three-day feast is an opportunity for Muslims to come together to end their fasting period with a feast.

Traditionally this means eating, drinking and exchanging gifts with friends and family.

The Messenger of Allah possesses many manifest miracles and signs demonstrating [his veracity], reaching thousands and they are well known.
From amongst them was the Qur'an, the manifest and clear miracle and brilliant proof, falsehood cannot approach it from before it or behind it. It is a revelation from One Who is All-Wise and Praiseworthy. It incapacitated the most eloquent of people in the most eloquent of times to produce a single chapter than would be comparable to it, even if the whole of creation were to gather for that purpose. Allah, the Exalted, says:
"Say: if the whole of mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they assisted each other." [Al-Qur'an 17:88]

It challenged them to this despite their large numbers, their eloquence and their severe enmity, and it challenges them to this day.
As for the other miracles, it is not possible to enumerate them all due to their huge number and renewing and increasing nature. I will mention some examples:

The splitting of the moon, water flowing from between his fingers, increasing the quantity of food and water, the glorification of the food, the palm tree yearning for him, stones greeting him, the talking of the poisoned leg [of roasted sheep], trees walking towards him, two trees that were far apart coming together and then parting again, the barren [and therefore dry] sheep giving milk, his returning the eye of Qatadah ibn an-Nu'man to its place with his hand after it had slipped out, his splitting lightly into the eye of 'Ali when it had become inflamed and its being cured almost immediately, his wiping the leg of 'Abdullah ibn 'Atiq whereupon he was immediately cured.

His informing of the places of death of the polytheists on the Day of Badr saying, "this is the place of such-and-such a person." His informing of his killing Ubayy ibn Khalaf, that a group of his nation would traverse an ocean and 'Umm Haram would be amongst them and this occurred. That all was drawn together for him of the ends of the earth and displayed to him would be opened for his nation, that the treasures of Chosroes would be spend by his nation in the Way of Allah, the Mighty and Magnificent. That he feared for his nation that they would be tempted by the wealth and allurement of this world and that the treasures of the Persians and Romans would be ours and that Suraqah ibn Malik would wear the trousers of Chosroes.

The Messenger of Allah possesses many manifest miracles and signs demonstrating [his veracity], reaching thousands and they are well known.

He informed us that Hasan ibn 'Ali would reconcile between two large warring parties of Muslims, that Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas would live such that nations would benefit by him and others would be harmed. That an-Najashi had died on this particular day while he was in Ethiopia and that al-Aswad al-Ansi had been killed on this particular day while he was in Yemen.

That the Muslims would fight the Turks who were described as having small eyes, wide faces and small, chiselled noses and that Yemen, Syria and Iraq would be conquered by the Muslims.

He informed us that the Muslims would comprise three armies, an army in Syria, an army in Yemen and an army in Iraq. That they would conquer Egypt, a land whose [unit of land measurement] was the Qirat, they they should deal with their people well for they have protection [being Copts] and ties of kinship [through Hajar]. That Aways al-Qarni would come to you from the auxiliaries of Yemen, he would be affected with leprosy and it would be healed except for the space of a dirham, and he indeed arrived during the rule of 'Umar.

He informed us that a group of his nation would always be upon the truth and that mankind would become many in number and that the 'Ansar would diminish in number and that the 'Ansar would not be given their due [with regards distribution of wealth and leadership]. That mankind would keep on asking questions until they would say, "Allah created the creation ..." [Referring to the hadith, "the people will continue asking until they say, 'this is Allah who created everything ... but who created Allah?' " Reported by al-Bukhari [no.7296] and Muslim [no.136]]

He informed us that Ruwayfi' ibn Thabit would live a long life, that 'Ammar ibn Yasir would be killed by the transgressing group, that this nation shall divide into sects and that they would fight each other.
He informed us that a fire would emanate from the land of Hijaz and the likes of this. All of this occurred exactly as he, sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam, said it would.

    Question
Billions of people have lived during the past fourteen hundred years, sending blessings upon the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) in their prayers and in their personal supplications, and when mentioning the name of the Prophet. If the Prophet was perfect and infallible, then why does he need all these salaams and blessings from us in order to enter Paradise? Whilst we are imperfect and we are in greater need of these salaams and blessings in order to enter Paradise? Or is there another, different reason why we send blessings and salaams upon the Prophet?
    Answer
    Praise be to Allah.

Firstly:Sending blessings upon the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is one of the best and noblest acts of worship by means of which one may draw closer to Allah. Allah, may He be exalted, has enjoined that upon His believing slaves. He, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Allah sends His Salât (Graces, Honours, Blessings, Mercy) on the Prophet (Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) and also His angels (ask Allah to bless and forgive him). O you who believe! Send your Salât on (ask Allah to bless) him (Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)), and (you should) greet (salute) him with the Islamic way of greeting (salutation i.e. As¬Salâmu 'Alaikum)”[al-Ahzaab 33:56].

The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) also urged us to do that and explained that it brings a multiple reward and that it is a means of attaining forgiveness of sins and having one’s needs met. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him tenfold and will erase from him ten misdeeds and raise him ten degrees in status.

” Narrated by an-Nasaa’i (1297); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Sunan an-Nasaa’i.At-Tirmidhi (2457) narrated that Ubayy ibn Ka‘b (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, I want to send more blessings upon you (before offering supplication); how much of my supplication should I allocate to that? He said: “Whatever you wish.” I said: One quarter? He said “Whatever you wish, but if you do more, it will be better for you.” I said: Half? He said: “Whatever you wish but if you do more, it will be better for you.” I said: Two thirds? He said: “Whatever you wish, but if you do more, it will be better for you.” I said: Shall I make all of my supplication for that? He said: Then your worries will be taken care of and your sin will be forgiven.”

Classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Sunan at-Tirmidhi.

    Secondly:
You said that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is perfect and infallible, so why does he need us to send many blessings and salaams upon him so that he might be admitted to Paradise, whereas we are in greater need of that than him, because we are not perfect? This objection on your part is not appropriate, for several reasons, as follows:

    1.
Sending blessings and salaams upon the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is something that is enjoined. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“O you who believe! Send your Salât on (ask Allah to bless) him (Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)), and (you should) greet (salute) him with the Islamic way of greeting (salutation i.e. As¬Salâmu 'Alaikum)”

[al-Ahzaab 33:56].So it is an act of worship, and what is required of the Muslim is to comply with the command of Allah, and not to object to His command.

2.The virtue of sending blessings upon the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) does not benefit the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) only; rather it also benefits the one who sends blessings on him. The virtue mentioned in the hadiths quoted above and in other hadiths benefits the one who sends blessings upon the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said, in his commentary on the hadith: The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him tenfold” means: If you say “Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammad (O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad)”, Allah will send upon you a tenfold blessing in return, and Allah will praise you before those on high ten times.End quote from Sharh Riyaadh as-Saaliheen.

3.The rights of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) are the greatest rights after those of Allah. Through him, Allah saved many people from the depths of darkness and brought them into the light. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“It is He Who sends down manifest Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) to His slave (Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) that He may bring you out from darkness into light. And verily, Allah is to you full of kindness, Most Merciful”

    [al-Hadeed 57:9]

“(This is) a Book which We have revealed unto you (O Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) in order that you might lead mankind out of darkness (of disbelief and polytheism) into light (of belief in the Oneness of Allâh and Islâmic Monotheism) by their Lord's Leave”[Ibraaheem 14:1].

If a person frequently mentions the name of a doctor at whose hands Allah caused him to be healed, and that is only concerning physical well-being, then how about the one at whose hands Allah brings about both spiritual and physical well-being?

It is one of the rights of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) over his ummah that they should send a lot of blessings upon him in response to that favour and in fulfilment of some of his rights (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Allah, may He be glorified, enjoined sending blessings upon him straight after telling us that He and His angels send blessings upon him. What is meant is that if Allah and His angels send blessings upon His Messenger, then you should send blessings upon him, for it is more appropriate that you should send blessings upon him and greet him with salaam, because of what you have received of the blessing of his message.

    End quote from Jalaa’ al-Ifhaam.

Shaykh ‘Abd ar-Rahmaan as-Sa‘di (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

“O you who believe! Send your Salât on (ask Allah to bless) him (Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)), and (you should) greet (salute) him with the Islamic way of greeting (salutation i.e. As¬Salâmu 'Alaikum)”
    [al-Ahzaab 33:56],

following the example of Allah and His angels, as a reward to him for some of the rights that he has over them, so as to perfect their faith and show respect, love and honour for him (sa), and as a means of increasing their good deeds and expiating their bad deeds.

End quote from Tafseer as-Sa‘di (1/671).

So blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, constantly, until the Day of Judgement, so long as night and day follow one another. Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him so long as righteous people remember him.

Do not deprive yourself of that virtue. May Allah help us and you to make the most of acts of obedience, and protect us from the evil of our own selves, for He is Most Munificent, Most Generous. And Allah knows best.

most Christians who throw away the old testament easily, if a Muslim rejects a single verse in the Quran he becomes a kafir (non-Muslim).

Problem is most don't follow the 10 commandments, especially today. I have a Christian co-worker who loves to tell me the religion is evil. But I've caught him in multiple lies, seen him steal from the company and he cheats on his wife.

People can reject it all the way to the grave but the One who sent the Torah, Injeel and Quran is the same deity. The God of Abraham. Of course you are gonna find similar rules, at-least with what man has not managed to edit.

Why did God send prophets such as Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, peace be upon them?

To warn us against following the polytheists and atheists who are corrupt in the land and those who doubt the path and the straight path of God, who cares about the interest of the whole society.

Freedom in thinking and creativity does not mean deviating from God’s commandments, and every person does what he wants according to his personal whims, even if the person harms himself or others.

Because in this case, the criteria for good and bad will differ from one person to another
What seems true to you will seem incorrect to another person because the constant criterion is personal interest only

    Example
Homosexuality is a deviation and destruction of offspring in the land and has serious medical damage to both parties
But for some people, homeopathy is harmless
    And agree his personal interest

is actually the logic behind why Catholics believe in a realm or state called "Limbo", because of infants dying they are not pure enough to enter into heaven because of inheriting Original Sin, so they are in this in-between state until the day of judgement. Purgatory is similar but doesn't have the same pre-mortal aspects to it.

We on the other hand believe in Fitrah, that the soul is created pure and that it is the interaction with sin in the world, and temptations of Shaitan (Satan) that makes it needing of repentance - which is also why God sends Prophets and messengers to give us the map of salvation.
We do believe in an intermediate state, called Barzakh, but it doesn't function like the intermediate states in Christian theology.
In Islamic theology, a soul is accountable only for it's own actions, whether it is good or bad to itself or towards others.

The Messenger of Allah possesses many manifest miracles and signs demonstrating [his veracity], reaching thousands and they are well known.
He said to Thabit bin Qays,

"You will live being praised ... and you will die as a martyr."
and he lived being praised and was martyred at al-Yamamah. He said about 'Uthman,
"He would afflicted by a severe trial." [The meaning of severe trial is his being imprisoned in his house and his being killed by transgressors.]
He said about a person amongst the Muslims who had just fought a severe fight that,
"He would be from amongst the denizens of the Fire."
and later he committed suicide. Wabisah ibn Ma'bad came to him in order to ask him about righteousness and sin upon which he asked,
"Have you come to ask about righteousness and sin?"

He said to 'Ali, az-Zubayr and al-Miqdad,
"Go to the garden of Khakh for indeed there is Dha'inah{qluetip title=[1]}This is the woman with whom Hasib al-Balta'ah radiallahu 'anhu sent a letter to the people of Makkah in order to inform them of the plans of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam to fight them. It was concerning this that the first verses of Surah Mumtahinah were revealed. The garden of Khakh is a place falling between Makkah and Madinah. Refer to al-Bukhari [no.3983] and Muslim [no.2494] and Tafsir ibn Kathir [4/344].{/qluetip} who has a book with her."
They found her there but she initially denied having the book and then took it our from within her braids.

He said to Abu Hurayrah, when Satan had stolen some dates, "indeed he shall return ... " and he did.
He said to his wives, "The most prolific of you in giving charity will be the quickest of you to join me," and it was so. [Zaynab bint Jahsh radiallahu 'anha was the most prolific of them in giving charity and was the first to die. Refer to Muslim [no.2452].]
He said to 'Abdullah bin Sallam, "You will remain upon Islam until you die."

He supplicated for 'Anas that his wealth and sons increase and that he should live a long life and it was so. He lived for more than one hundred years and not one of the 'Ansar was richer than he and one hundred and twenty of his children had been buried before the arrival of al-Hajjaj [to Basrah]. This is detailed further in Sahih al-Bukhari [no.1982] and others.

He sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam supplicated that Islam be strengthened through 'Umar ibn al-Khattab or Abu Jahl, and Allah strengthened it through 'Umar radiallahu 'anhu. He supplicated against Suraqah ibn Malik and the feet of his horse sank into the earth and he was thrown off, he called out asking for safe conduct and was granted it, then he asked the Prophet to make a supplication for him.

He supplicated that Allah remove feeling the bitter cold and heat from 'Ali and so never did he feel cold or hot. He supplicated for Hudhayfah, the night that he sent him to spy on the Confederates, that he not feel the cold and he did not until he had returned. He supplicated for Ibn 'Abbas that Allah grant him understanding of the religion and it was so. He supplicated against 'Utaybah ibn Abi Lahab that Allah cause a dog from amongst His dogs to overcome him and he was killed by a lion at az-Zarqa'.

He sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam supplicated for the descent of rain when they asked him to at the time of drought, there was not a single cloud in the sky, then when he had supplicated, the clouds gathered like mountains and it rained until the next Friday. It rained so much they they had to come back and ask him to supplicated and stop the rain, so he supplicated and the rain stopped and they out into the glaring sun.
He supplicated for Abu Talhah and his wife, 'Umm Sulaym, that he bless them in the night they had spent together and she became pregnant and gave birth to 'Abdullah. He had nine children and all of them were scholars.

He sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam supplicated for the mother of Abu Hurayrah radiallahu 'anhu that she be guided and Abu Hurayrah left to find her performing the ritual bath because she had accepted Islam. He supplicated for 'Umm Qays bint Muhsin, the sister of 'Ukkashah, that she live a long life and we do not know of another woman who lived as long as she did. This was reported by an-Nasa'i in the chapter concerning washing the deceased.

On the Day of Hunaun he threw a handful of dirt at the disbelievers and said, "May the faces be disfigured," and Allah, the Exalted, vanquished them, filling their eyes with dirt. He once went out to one hundred of the Quraysh who were waiting to do something horrible to him and he put dirt on their head and went on his way without their seeing him.

The Prophets of the Old Testament such as Abraham, Noah and Jonah never preached that God is part of a Trinity, and did not believe in Jesus as their saviour. Their message was simple: there is one God and He alone deserves your worship. It doesn’t make sense that God sent Prophets for thousands of years with the same essential message, and then all of a sudden he says he is in a Trinity and that you must believe in Jesus to be saved.

It is clear that the sect of Christianity who believed Jesus to be a human Prophet and nothing more, were following the true teachings of Jesus. This is because their concept of God is the same as that which was taught by the Prophets in the Old Testament.

The truth is that Jesus preached the same message that the Prophets in the Old Testament preached. There is a passage in the Bible which really emphasizes his core message. A man came to Jesus and asked “Which is the first commandment of all?”Jesus answered, “The first of all the commandments is Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.’’[Mark 12:28-29]. So the greatest commandment, the most important belief according to Jesus is that God is one. If Jesus was God he would have said ‘I am God, worship me’, but he didn’t. He merely repeated a verse from

the Old Testament confirming that God is One.

: This is eternal life: to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you sent. I have glorified you on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.[John 17:3-4].

Jesus has confined the divine to the father alone

Also Jesus said “salvation is of the Jews” [John 4:22]. So according to this we don’t need to believe in the Trinity or that Jesus died for our sins to attain salvation since the Jews don’t have these beliefs.

Islam is not just another religion. It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham. Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God. It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone. It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine. The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as:

“Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.” (Quran 112:1-4)[4]

    What is happening these days?

The most excellent of deeds on completion of the Hajj or Umrah is to go to Madinah in order to visit the grave of the master of Prophets, the mercy unto mankind, Muhammad ﷺ. Muslims have consistently, from the time of the early righteous Muslim generations, visited him and expended much effort to travel to him because it is from amongst the most important and beneficial acts accepted by Allah. It is an excellent way of attaining spiritual elevation and increasing your love for the Prophet ﷺ.

The Prophet ﷺ said: None shall ever greet me without God returning my spirit to me, so that I may answer his greeting.9
    Intention of Visiting the Prophet

It is highly recommended that your intention for this blessed trip should be to visit the Holy Prophet ﷺ. You should also have the intention of drawing closer to Allah through this virtuous action and you should also make the intention of visiting Masjid Nabawi and performing salah therein.

After you have made your intention, increase your Salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ. You should do as much Salawat en route to Madinah and recite it with full concentration.
As a member of the Prophet’s ﷺ Ummah, you should develop a yearning and desire within yourself to visit him and express your love for him.

Etiquette to observe during visiting the grave:

There are three graves side by side and when you approach towards the graves, the first one is the grave of Prophet (pbuh) followed by the graves of Abu-Bakr and Umar (May Allah be pleased with them). The actual graves cannot be seen, they are covered by golden metallic gates.
when you come near to the Prophet’s grave, stand respectfully and give salutation of peace in low voice by saying:

“As-salamu ‘alykum yaa Rasulallah wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.” (May the peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you, O Messenger of Allah!)
Then move about two steps to the right, that is the grave of Abu-Bakr(May Allah be pleased with him) and extend your greetings to him by saying:

“Assalamu ‘alykum yaa Abu-Bakr.” (Peace be upon you, Oh Abu-Bakr)
Now move another two steps and extend your greetings to Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) by saying:

“Assalamu ‘alykum yaa Umar.” (Peace be upon you, Oh Umar)
It is not permissible for anyone to wipe his hands over the trellis or kiss it; or cry and ask the Prophet (pbuh) to fulfil your desire or relieve from distress or illness or any other wish. In fact this type of act is gravely sinful and regarded as associating partners with Allah and worship of other than Him.
