What were some funny instances where your parents didn't understand technology?

Few weeks back my father phoned me up in a panic that their internet is broken and that he couldn't open any websites. After a lengthy phone-call asking him to check a bunch of things and hearing him growing increasingly upset, I decided it would probably be better just to drive over there and see what's wrong. When I get to his computer he worryingly points to the desktop - 'See? The internet is gone!' Hang on, I thought, what do you mean by 'gone'?

It turns out the technician who installed their router had renamed the browser’s desktop shortcut to 'The Internet', and my dad had accidentally deleted the shortcut. So I just restored the shortcut and of course everything was right as rain. He still thinks I did something magical to fix his internet though I couldn't help but chuckle about it for the rest of the day.
