In the South West here, especially in Lagos, there are many streets bearing Igbo names. For example, Iwuchukwu Street, Ikeduba Street, Nwachukwu Avenue, etc, etc..

Even in the Lagos State civil service, there are Igbos among the workers.

Is the situation the same in the Eastern part of Nigeria – Igboland? Are there streets in Imo, Anambra, Enugu, Delta, Ebonyi, or Abia, which bear Yoruba names?

Are there any Yoruba people in Igbo civil services at state levels?

I have never been to the East, hence these questions.

If the answers are yes, then kudos to our Igbo brothers.

If the answers are no, then why would Igbo people claim rights anywhere they go, only to deny such rights to others in their native land?
