The reason that I want gold currency's to work is that fiat currencies are too easy to manipulate If someone else has control of your currency it doesn't matter who you vote for. He who controls your money controls you. It is like having a guardian. If you have a mean guardian, he/she steals your money, and if you have a nice guardian, he/she takes care of your every need. I am just not that trusting... are you? I don't want to chance getting a mean guardian. In the USA, the Federal Reserve is our guardian. They invent money out of thin air. The only value it has is what we are hypnotized into believing it has. It is paper, or an entry on a ledger... Nothing more. I want to see private gold backed currency take over.

Right now, it is in limited use. My question is why? Why are there not people willing to accept gold currency for food clothing and shelter? Why can we not buy transportation without first having to convert it back into fiat money? Most of what I see people using it for is multi level schemes Matrix type stuff. Hey, I am not knocking it.
