This looks VERY dodgy to me, and I reckon it could be a 419-type fraud, or at least a means of getting your email address.
There are far too many questions on this, i.e.:
1) How come a company trading for 22 years only registered their domain on the 6th of December?
2) Why are there no contact details on the site?
3) Why would they have $1bn to invest in real money, and deal in ecurrencies for payments?
4) Why would they propose a deal to their $1bn client that they can't actually do? And why would the client then accept that 5% (which is all they get, apparantly) is Ok, and 12% can go to complete strangers. Surely they can get 5% with no problems elsewhere.
6) Why is a company with $1bn to invest using yahoo groups for email?
7) etc etc etc
BE VERY CAREFUL

Been here before
This email gathering device has made the rounds already.
nej is correct! Think about it Bryan could get into a PPP, Gins couldget
into a PPP, Peraads says they can get into a PPP and most will tell you
$1m is a start. So why would I risk my $1b for 5% when I can leave it
in my little savings account and get that or put it on a no-risk fix
deposit and get 12 or 13%? Why? To get your email so I can spam you
or get your signature so I can steal your identity.
NOTHING IN LIFE IS FREE
It is the same MO as before join the yahoo group wait until we have
enough folks and then we will get back to you. Well if you are a pipster
I know your first quality is PATIENCE so WAIT!!!
Your grandchildren would be using 'walkers' by then
