Thread: 12DP stopped supporting e-gold. You can change that.

I'm not going to sign - it seems to me that if Egold is under investigation by the feds, and can disappear completely for 3 days, that leaving large reserves of money in it is dangerous and foolish.

If the govt. were to suddenly shutdown e-gold, even if just for an investigation like the Bank Negara investigating Pips, you would basically lose all your e-gold, at least for a period of time (probably months if not years). This would spell the end for 12DP as I'm sure they couldn't survive if they lost such a huge amount of money.

I think they have taken good and positive action to protect their members and I'm glad they've done it. I would rather it contine and pay slightly more to use Stormpay rather than risk using Egold and it be unable to pay.

I hope Charis found an alternative issue with e-gold enven it take me more than 10 days trading.:(

Obviously, this is a touchy issue. And, I' sure, the Admin, have done the best they can - for now - in regards to this.

Because of the length of time E-Gold has been around and the kind of people doing business with E-Gold, I feel safe in saying, these issues will be worked out. However, until then, 12DP sees it necessary to protect, not only members of 12DP, but the program itself. I salute them for this.

May be a bumpy ride for a time but I'm sure all this will be worked out in time. And, probably not too much time at that!
