something is still not functioning sensible over there....it is indeed, that a person with a cell phone subscription is liable to be charged ...just because someone calls on that person's cell phone...it does ound crazy but it is true...sad really.

Anyway, once I know that, I try not to call on the US cell phone number unless there is no other alternative to a landline #.

However, www.voipbuster.com or www.voipstunt.com will allow you to call unlimited both to landline and cellphones in the USA for FREE!!!

They do have a prepaid call service to and all they ask is a $10 upload should those countries you call are not in the list qualifying for free calls. After 59 mins 59 secs. the call is disconnected but it takes you in under 10 secs to redial and you resume where you last left...cool ain't it?

No need for the monthly subscription then.
