Rafael Sosa asked people to stay off of the overloaded server on July 3 and later. He would not have done this if SI was going to run with the money. If SI was going to run, it would not have cared if the servers were overloaded or not.

There is a rumor that SI did seem to make some Special Plan payouts to subscribers via bank wire prior to the servers going down.

SI is involved with some very influential, and well healed, VIP investors and would not leave them hanging by simply disappearing with the funds.

At 100,000 subscribers, SI was going to go private. This happened at the same time as the July 3 payout date. The servers may be down to accommodate this event.

The old SI servers may have been vulnerable to a DDoS attack. This was graphically demonstrated when 100,000 subscribers overloaded their servers asking for payouts. This may have frightened them and they may have decided to fix this problem prior to making any more payouts.

Sosa left a message on Ecurrency Forum, and on the SI Internet Site opening page, stating that SI hoped the July 3 payout would go OK. If it was going to run with the money, SI would not have cared if things went OK or not.

SI officials may have been surprised, and shocked, at the problems they had with the subscriber traffic on their servers on July 3. As a consequence, they may have decided to move their operations to another, larger proxy server with a wider pipeline, thus shutting down their present servers until this was accomplished.

Their servers went down on Friday, July 7, 2006. They may have hoped to have their new operation up and running by Monday, July 10. Rafael Sosa stated that they hoped to make payouts at that time. However, they may have run into unforeseen problems where they could not.

It was reported, on this forum, that Sam Colins, and Rafael Sosa, were in Plano, Texas working on setting up a DDoS protected proxy server. If this is true, they may be there to work out the financial, security, and technical details of the server move.

Some very influential, and respected, individuals have endorsed SI, some of them in Canada. They would not have put their reputations on the line, and would not have invested one million dollars themselves, if SI was a Ponzi.

SI is not a small, disappearing Internet surfing program. Sam Colins owns a bank that handles some of SI's business and he deals with some very influential and large investors and corporations. He would not risk his international business reputation by allowing SI to run with the money.

SI claims to have a reserve fund to protect the initial funds of subscribers. If this is the case, SI could reimburse all subscribers for their loss.

After SI subscriber information was stolen by hackers and some E-Bullion accounts were hacked, E-Bullion terminated SI's affiliation with it. E-Bullion would not have accepted SI back if it was a Ponzi.

SI may, or may not, come back. Just sharing information. Please don't shoot the messenger.

------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for sharing with us xxxxxxxxxn.

Also may I add 1 more evidence why I too just like a lot of you out there beleive that SI will be coming back to fulfill their obligation and continue........

On July 3 which happens to be a monday, SI loaded the software on the page that allows all of us to make the withdrawal request for our maturity, the next few days was a mad rush as everyone will recall, but on July 6 & 7 the site was easily accesible already, and we could safely assume that everyone who ought to make a withdrawal has by then done so or could easily have done it. then on July 7 or 8, but I think it's 7/8 a saturday, around late afternoon to early evening (well this really depends on yur time zone) the site disappeared coinciding with the dissapearance of the e-currency forum.

But one thing all of us must consider is this..... moments after succesfully requesting our withdrawals, all of us received a confirmation e-mail from solidinvestment that goes like this:

To: [email protected]
SUBJECT: SI Ecurrency pay out
FROM: [email protected]
DATE: Depend on what day you WD + GMT Time

Dear Investor,

We have received your special plan e-gold pay out order:

AMOUNT: xxxx.xx USD
ACCOUNT: xxxxxx

Your order will be processed in 5 business days

Thank you for the opportunity to serve you.
Solidinvestment Team

Now this is Tantamount to Solidinvestment confirming that they owe us the amount stated in the e-mail, and that it will take them 5 business days to fund our accounts, whether this be E-gold, e-bullion or a bit longer if memory serve me right for a wire transfer to your bank account! we all know that this did not happen and we are all still waiting for that payout from them, and the only way for them to confirm that they have paid us out just like before when we are receiving our daily pay out, it for solidinvestment to confirm that the funds have indeed been transfered to out e-currency account........ this e-mail confirmation of course has it's weight on the payment "BATCH NUMBER" from the corresponding e-ccurency processor...........

At this point in time, majority of us are still waiting for our payout, therefore, we still do not have the much awaited "Payment confirmation batch number" from our e-cuurency acct or bank wire confirmation from our banks. This would in legal talk still be an unconsummated contract between SI & us.....

what I'm pointing out here is that if SI has an intention of running away, they should have done it clean without leaving any trace or evidence that they owe us still!!! why would they go to the extend of leaving a confirmation to each & everyone of us who actually requested our withdrawal, and that confirmation we received after we reqyested WD from SI is ROCK SOLID PROOF that they CONFIRm at the same time PROMISE to make payment to us!! This simply is not the work of someone who would want to backtrack on their obligations, and given the established fact that Mr. Sam Colins has worked up a reputation in the high rolling financial business community, where would he go & hide anyway!!!

Again this are just my ideas, I could be wrong but from the events of the past few days, it seems the tide is now turning towards our favor and eventual payment.......... But again only solidinvestment can prove it to all of us, we are just spectators waiting for events to unfold!!!

please don't shoot the messenger. Thank you all..........
