Nice to see people recognize that Owen was just doing his job, and I must say, he did it well. I think the comments and apologies are justified now that we know the truth, and this book was so accurate I read it in one sitting almost knowing what the next paragraph would be, that is how accurate it was.

If you followed it as closely as many of us have, then you will draw the same conclusions we have, this is the truth, and is about as accurate a picture you will ever see, at least until court records are released. No doubt, we won't be seeing Bryan, Barry or Sharon again, this you can take to the bank. (g)

Owen came under a lot of flak regarding his book. A lot of this probably came from the fact that he was active on TalkGold, a place that many of us dislike. Ergo, he was guilty by association. I myself was probably guilty of saying less-than-pleasant things. I apologise unreservedly if I did this.

Since the arrest of BM, Owen has not rubbed our noses in it, nor sat crowing on his perch. His book is worthy of a read (perhaps a few too many forum posts, but that is forgivable given the lack of material to draw from). He obviously has some expertise in this area.

Thank you - but there really is no need for an apology. If I had put my money in Pips I would probably have felt the same way. Not having done so, I was able to be more objective in the matter.
And bearers of bad news are seldom popular initially. In the old days, they solved the problem by shooting the messenger, a process that was actually advocated by several posters here some time ago! Times must have changed, since no one showed up at my address.
I agree that there is a surfeit of postings in the book - this was more from necessity than anything else, as was the reliance on the TG forum which, you will note, I pointed out as bringing a new meaning to "Free Speech!" And the postings had to be made in full to avoid any misunderstanding.
The book was not targeted at Pips members who may have read all of these but at a more general public who, like myself prior to starting work on the book, never even knew that this world existed.

I haven't given up on the out come of our money investments thru PIPS. I still have faith that not all is lost. I can't explain why. Only God knows for sure.
