I had just received a brief reply from Batty, being exhausted and staying by his Mom's side in the Thai hospital until she's ready for approved relocation back to their hometown in Malaysia.
I was earlier mistaken to assume Batty is back in Penang but his latest reply confirmed the daunting hours on days at ends by having to cope up with this medical care he's now going through as active head of the family as well.
His mother may be in a stable situation but is still subjected to the respirator...

May our prayer help alleviate the pain & suffering they are experiencing during these hard times ....

There are three links below I have pasted here that you could focus on and the only way to keep track is by starting with link Nr#1 which will set you off well...i.e. if YOU DO indeed want to stay abreast on the trial details, be a genuine supporting donor & committed to funding the cause. As he was led away, after a swift trial, this is what most ex-PIPsters would also like to see and witness, taking place across the other side of the globe with the other BM whom we know as Bryan Marsden.

The above who may never see public lifestyle is Bernard Madoff who Ponzied away $65 Billion<<<(click) from many Investors thinking they were in for a scoop of the century with all their hard earned $$$$s.... unfortunately and a sad episode that costs several lives since and perhaps more can be anticipated.

The one significant difference we can rightfully add to this saga is that most ex PIPSters are and were at the lower end of the buck with their Investments... that includes my share if I may add to that fact too.

The other thing is also, we are able to recoup and probably shy away and even smile with a timely getaway when Bryan Marsden was eventually stopped in his tracks with the Halotto attempt. I think we did the right thing and made the prudent decision soon after it was discovered, that James Barry held the same identity to Bryan Marsden, in halting that Cycler program.... which I was drawn into as well....

Well, Madoff sure had it going after his Directorship at NasDaq which was much earlier than PIPS got going in 2004. but this trial was wrapped soon after last year's discovery and comparing it to the Malaysian handling of the Marsdens case.
I and ALL of you, would rather wish it was tried in the USA too but, we remain beyond disbelief as it continues to drag on and on and we just have to see what comes out of it all when that final sentencing day arrives.

Those affected by BM operating from the USA, can see closure after today's court sentence but with BM operating from Malaysia... its far from over and by George, I am sure many believe there is money to claim back and it isn't over for them as yet even after Bryan Marsden may have served his sentence in Malaysia.

Which means, if anyone were to think that this is a dead end for the Marsdens trial or that of PI Inc once the case is closed, you will be mistaken and whatever plays out with the Malaysian trial will have a significant impact as to what will take place thereafter.
