Refund & Payout finally arrived!!!

Thank you Batty, if you hadn't shown the true grit in facing the many months and years with unenviable sacrifices given, just so that the Malaysian Authorities would not get away reaping every buck for themselves, if you had NOT stood to confront them on behalf of the rightful claims all of you deserved having, if not for the humble donations made available to see it through... this would not have been accomplished.

We are proud of your commitment and we thank you for the endeavor you went through since the first day the Marsdens went before and face his charges for Fraud with monies many had showered him for high hopes disguised under his investment plan better known as PIPS.

Needless to say that I am relieved and happy. It has been a long and emotional struggle which now has finally come to an end.

Strangely, I somehow wished this never happened and all of us were still with PIPS and PIPS was for real. I had a lot of uplift and many hopeful friends back then. Somehow it was a period of optimism and the only chance at financial independence for most of us.

I am still unsure if BM was just another greedy psychopath or if he really intended to make a go of it. At least he went to great length with it building his little empire.


The moment I became suspicious was when information wasn’t distributed to the members as it should have been. Meeting BM at the Gold Coast at one time here in Australia also didn’t help. He was a chain smoking man in a bad suit and I found him unconvincing. He looked like a character from the gangster movie ‘Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels’. However, many of the people there were smitten and quickly booked in to attend the famous PIPS conference in Hawaii. If paying for it would have been possible via PIPS funds, I probably would have gone as well.


Anyway – let bygones be bygones! I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you all for your steadfast stance and patience to stick it through to the very end. I still can’t believe of all those thousands of investors only us few had the conviction to go that far. Therefore, I say our victory is well deserved.

Hello & Congratulations To All;
Received a call from Ms. Parathan around 2a.m. Tuesday morning that my bank routing code was wrong. I corrected this matter, but still didn't think we would get a deposit that quickly, so I didn't call the bank to check.

Then, after working Wednesday night 'til 3:30a.m., when I got home checked the email, I found a letter from Ms. Parathan stating a telegraphic transfer had been sent the 27th. So, I stayed up and called our bank and checked the special account we had set up for this and loh and behold, it was in there!
I first said a prayer of thanks to the good Lord, and ran to tell Kenny who also thanked the Lord.

We want to also thank YB, Batty and DG for their stressful efforts of handling so many claimants, and the paperwork they all endured, plus their unpaid-for time involved in this massive effort of emails, phone calls and travel. We shall forever be indebted to you all, and will hold you in our hearts as our life-long friends.

And to all the other claimants, God has truly blessed you, don't fail to thank him, my cousins didn't persue the lawsuit, and lost $85,000 of their 401K, plus have suffered heart attacks since then from the stress of it all.

We have all succeeded with a lawsuit that hopefully will open the door for others to retrieve their lost funds from crooks such as Bernie Madoff, Bryan Marsden, and our own Federal Reserve, who denies lost monies in off shore investments or scams as write offs on our taxes, and our long standing Congressmen and Senators who have stolen from the Social Security funds and left I.O.U's they never intended to repay in order to fund their pet projects, and now want us all to work 5-10 years longer, and by the time we get there they'll probably extend it another 5-10 years!

pips trial/refund

Hello Yogi, just answering to an email that I received today regarding pips. I, like many thought we would probably never hear about this situation again, let alone the possibility of getting any money back. I tailed off after too many people in the forum were falling off track about their bickering back and forth. Personal commitments in life also took over responsibilities and I never really did hear back from much about pips after a while. Still being registered here, I got the email.

I have read through some of the information in this thread but it is still unclear to me how to go about anything, as I have not been connected to it now for some time. I have my papers stating how much I invested in pips (over 10k), the person who got me involved also included the american currency exchange, so it was more than 10k in my currency.

What are the steps in going about filing for any hope of a return (if possible)? Your assistance is appreciated and I hope this finds you well. If you needed to be a claimant, I was not, I will not lie about that, but my e-gold account got hacked and the little I had in there was taken.

I am sure you are being inundated with emails, so I will await reply, when possible.

Just read some postings regarding pips. I'm glad to hear this is not a dead issue. Although myself and my friends did not invest a lot, it's still our hard earned money. Any information that anyone can give as to how we can recover these monies would be greatly appreciated.

This "may NOT" be the end for many more out there including you however, so long as Bryan Marsden stays free and fancy footing in his new freedom after release from the Malaysian trial/sentence and based on a limited amount impounded within Malaysia, it is still alive as a potential case & claim but... and this is the sticky point.

Stay alert and browse all if not, sign up with as many HYIP Forums on the Internet (not to invest/participate & be scammed again... hell nooo!!!) but just to monitor any signs that will expose the whereabouts and activity of BM with his new disguised attempt(s).

Once that can be established, consolidate your findings either on a reliable forum as ROLClub or get hold of many determined ex-Pipsters to round up a collective effort to assign a Law firm to process an indictment on Bryan in a country where the charges will "stick" of course!!!

Our trial coverage by Batty and monitoring the involvement by the Malaysian Courts is done & delivered with a substantial (although smallish even as a few millions being paid out) refund sum paid out by the authorities there and as such, is now history and a closed case.

So, be on yr guard and stay vigilant and you can best post your "new" suggestions on ROLClub forum so others might know & realize that they are not alone too and may wish to team up with you, which can only be positive and hopes remain optimistic.

You stayed away from being interactive on ROLClub and see what happens? You now felt left out... you should have stayed and post and share and participate for then, will it benefit YOU, not any other... don't you think? Don't make the same mistake again is my advise.

I have been a pioneer from way back in 2004 March adn ever since i was on the forum always kept posative and when the forums moved or changed in any way i changed with them to stay connected. i visited regularly here and even ask several times to please keep me informed , most of the time i was but then things dropped off and communication was scarous. was everyone kept informed on every action that was about to happen or as it was happening???
was everyone let know when to apply and where to apply ??
i for one did not get those messages.

till this day i have documetation from the pips days and in fact the computer i used back then has been in storage so any contact i had with pips or everyone from that era is in my computer,
if someone is going to put together another inquiriey and statr a new class action please contact me
so i can start to gather up my documents .
I am sorry we all did not get the info we all should have gotten for the e-mails were not regular.this is a sad day for most.
y.b. do you have contact with indiviuals whom are in contact with the Masrdens????
do you have any good info you can or wish to share with those less fortuate???

That this hasn't been fought as a class action lawsuit is a desaster to say the least. PIPS Inc. business was registered in Malaysia. For me it means that Malay Authorities MUST consider the WHOLE membership and reimburse to ALL members who participated in this program. The membership was how many people strong? I don't remember the numbers, I think it was above 100k members. It just cannot be that out of 100 or 200k members only 1-2 handful get refunds while the Banks/Authorities in Malaysia keep hundreds of millions of dollars away from OUR monies!

You certainly have a lot to "air" out after its over. Where WERE YOU with such a dynamic thought regarding Class Action being pursued etc?

Anyway, for all the reasons you may still have, save it.

The trial is over, BM served his short sentence and is now scott-free and several fortunate Claimants were able to see their good fortune recouped and are tasting their fruits after going through the many uncertain months and years of bearing it all with confidence and true grit behind their belief and determination.... they didn't have just empty words to BLAST out, but were equally upset and determined, serious to take that extra mile and set forth without letting up and their goal were achieved.

No HOT AIR by them... just plain support for each other and doing away with those that came on board with plenty of HOO HAHS and nothing concrete, or positive to share the burden that was before them... yes, they had the metal to make it and those that decided to trail backwards, they knew what the options were and made them tby backing out one way or another.

These successful Claimants had only one thing in mind... go after that impounded amount and stake their Claim QUICK before more is lost ... by hook or by crook and so be it!

If you preferred to lag behind or stay on the fence with a barrage of lame excuses or whatever... they had to leave you behind coz time is money and there's no mucking about when having to select the right Law firm from the many greedy ones seeking a BIG cut after the payout is granted.

Go figure all this first Micky... and then I'm sure, if there's a potential Claim showing up, I'm sure the rest of the would-be claimants would rather NOT hear any more of your assertions and hot-air claims, people want to see results... not a come-back kid with promises and IFS that stayed away for his part when he could have been bold enough to head all the way like these fortunate Claimants that won't put up with Hot Air Talkers.

It is sad indeed. Btw, you may want to amend that signature you still have regarding PIPS. It certainly is a bitter reminder for most and to see it upheld in your post.

I am not a lawyer, but became involved to secure the correct coverage of the trials in Malaysia and with that responsibility, it was a tough road to undertake and unpopular measures adopted became fruitful for those who are truly serious in pursuing their tireless path to claim what is rightfully theirs which was partially held with the Malaysian Authorities linked to the apprehension, detention and sentencing of Bryan Marsden on Fraud charges.

My answer can be best found in early replies to others before post #1593.

Please read them to get a good perspective on any future hopes should the opportunity next rises.

I would advise strongly, don't let the next opportunity slip past, as you probably know, opportunity knocks once only! Esp. when its a key objective that you once missed due to a range of circumstances but now that you can see what and how it benefited those that did not discard or slip past it, you are next in line and only YOU can decide on that move, and no one else... Regarding coaching, RC Forum was set up NOT to launch workshops on legal matters and still remains as such. What took place was unprecedented and as far as the Trial and Claims is concerned, this forum like any other forum on the Net, is not involved with any legal undertakings which you probably thought or expected, to represent PIPSters on their claims.

It may perhaps but with no funds or barely adequate funds from donations, one can hardly expect to even convince a mule to step aside so a path can be paved.

What took place resulted from collective, determined would-be Claimants bent on seeing they get to their goal!!! If that was just to be based on pennies and dimes... nothing would have progressed after just a few months of donations collected. As you also know, you don't get to fly again and again for no extra charges just because you once paid for a cheap flight once advertised by the airline?

Thats the reality of what it takes to "keep up" with each & every trial coverage Batty has to be assigned to without fail. Perhaps too, after you understand better in perspective on how to see & approach such situations you'll be better prepared and not let the opportunity pass you by... see Post #1593 in answer to similar concerns raised.

Edit: You may still want to keep all of those transcripts and esp. proven evidence that your Bank or Credit Card company still has and will support you with records that showed you transferred monies to PIPS or BM back then.

For the moment, the case as far as in Malaysia is concern, is CLOSED and DONE with. There is no more issue to deal with and they have wrapped up the entire Fraud case that went with it. BM is now free from his sentence served and NOT in Malaysia anymore.

Your best chance is to browse en search diligently, on ALL HYIP Forums or perhaps too, new investment-like setups and try recognising the kind of language and/or terminology you once knew that Bryan usually use... that might give him away...

All the best to your efforts and we in ROLClub has no more coverage to lend our experience to revive any Claim for that matter.

As much as I would like to or can, I am not in the position now to assist nor revive any CLAIM(s) for anyone since the last list was legally submitted and approved after negotiations were arduously conducted with the final choice made on a Law Firm that represented the involved Claimants.

I am NOT in any involved as I respectfully given up that option as a choice decision I took in 2006 itself. But I was then instrumental and key to overseeing the smooth handling that served ALL Claimants that fought hard & stayed diligently with unenviable perseverance to get what they were bent on achieving, which they did and they deserved it of course.

Have you not read post #1593? Please do for there lies the potential and possibility if and when BM gets nabbed off the street into custody for scamming YOU as one out of many more thousands being in the same agony you are going through.


Your best way out is this time round, focus and stay interactive with any forum addressing his discovery and stay alert with as many forums to spot him and his new attempts.
