The reason why EBullion was NOT made available was due to Batty not having/using EBullion, for small sums it would be MORE costly to handle regarding fees and exchange and conversion rates imposed, I have EBullion but it is in the best interest to avoid increasing surcharges and transfer fees and conversion costs esp. when we are dealing with donations and in very small amounts per member/transfer.

The only easy handling is either E-Gold and the Bank, not even PayPal which is now convenient and only to the point of receiving and transferring through PayPal for almost EVERYBODY with the exception of donors from Malaysia, that are not allowed to open or own a PayPal acct.

Once money is received, even from different Dollar currencies into PayPal, it gets converted into USD$s, charges are again imposed for every dollar/transaction(conversion), further channeled into a US Bank and from that Bank, it takes awhile (4-7 days), then it sits there and subject to a monthly Admin Fee by the Bank, they charge again (which is not cheap!!!) to transfer to a Malaysian Bank where Batty then receives his amount (slightly diminished) after again being charged by the Malaysian Bank before authorizing withdrawal!!!

So far, the figures are mentioned to me from Batty's side and seeing that he had to cover in advance any costs incurred, it is not right that he does that but we are working on the exact amount he was faced by it to record as best or as close to the decimal for my check & balance.

Also,there is this other factor when converting E-Gold into Malaysian Ringgit (local currency) which Batty again faced back then, and will still be so long as E-Gold is accepted regardless of E-Gold's hard pressed performance elsewhere...hence, the anticipation and expectation that charges will and have increased (continue to fluctuate) subject to the scarcity in demand or fear of use in that region.

Do use your calculated imagination as to all the possible hurdles that accompanies all transactions with costs and charges albeit this amount being just meant as Donation money!!!

Small sums will always experience a greater impact with Bank charges, transfers Fees, currency conversion costs etc.... regardless of the nature of the money it represents, there are many still out there that has no clue of this fact and sometimes believe sternly that all services esp. Banking & Financial services operate for free ???!!!

When I have finalized most of the details gathered before me, I shall disclose the Check & Balance so all Donating members can understand and see their donations are accounted for since the start of the E-Gold receivings and still does till today and sometime in mid Spring 2007 the options with PayPal began. It showed more popular after all to bridge choices but it does NOT exclude financial fees incurred during processing however, the one advantage by maintaining the USD$, allows transfer from PayPal to the US Bank as free because it is in US Dollars.

It will NOT accept AUD, HK, Euro or other currencies sitting in PayPal to be accepted by the Bank unless the fees are sufficiently accommodating.... amounts like under $30 per currency will face a staggering Bank charge that almost render such a transfer as ridiculous and wasteful, thus an internal conversion executed within the PayPal structure is less expensive before moving over to the Bank.

I have suggested That Batty opens the Bank Account so I can transfer directly to his account internally and he then draws it through an ATM card but that also means he has to maintain a monthly Admin Fee by the Bank and this is not in the best financial situation for him as I came to understand and I have to respect that too.

Hi Moncheri, I just checked for your transaction and related ID you quoted but nothing showed up through PayPal with your given ID detail. The one I saw earlier assuming it was YOURS, turned out as belonging to somebody else instead....

Could you please establish with a screen shot of your PayPal transcript and PM to me instead. I have now to replace your name as Pending in the List, I'm sorry and hope you can resolve it on whatever it is....

I think it might speed up donations. Just a lot of numbers to weed through from the detailed list of donations given and by whom. Hope this was of some help, and it is not criticism.
