It is well known that I never did believe in PIPS or Bryan Marsden had discovered a way to make money that no other person on this planet has EVER done. So I guess you could say I am biased.

As for their sitting in jail for two years before their trial, they did not have to sit in jail for these two years. Bail was afforded them, but they did not post bail. Now you can argue that because all their money was frozen, how could they pay bail? Well, the money that was confiscated was in their PERSONAL bank accounts, not PIPS bank accounts. Had it been PIPS money, they would still have had access to their personal bank accounts. From all the supporters of BM who claimed they had received much more than they had invested, as well as professing their belief and trust in BM, suddenly deserted him and Sharon in their hour of need of posting bail. Not only did the 'faithful' desert them both, it seems so has their family members as well because they did not post bail either.

I remember reading all those posts from those who claimed they were being railroaded, they were not criminals, they were innocent, etc., but none believed in them enough to help them with their bail did they.

Had their initial attorney not requested all these delays, their trial would have happened much sooner than now. Even this attorney removed himself from their case, and they were given their current public defenders to provide their defense which led to the last delay before their trial. So it was not the fault of the Malaysian court system this trial has taken so long to happen, nor why they sat in jail for two years.

As for impartiality in the reporting of the trial. When no report has even been issued yet of the events of the first 2 days of the first trial, this is an assumption on your part the "truth" won't be told. That remains to be seen, but from what I have seen in the past, what happened is what was reported. Of course you can always get a transcript of the court proceedings if you want a totally unbiased report as you say. I am sure the court would gladly sell you one.

If you still believe and support BM and Sharon, that is your right. The reporting of the events of the trial will not take that right away from you. But this question begs to be asked. Because of your personal support of the Marsden's, will it cloud your perception of the reporting of the Bat$ just because it may not appear to favor your point of view?

As I have said, I have made no bones about PIPS being a Ponzi, and BM and Sharon guilty of running one, but also from stealing from people who could not afford to lose any money. They preyed on the gullible and desperate. Should the court, however, rule in their favor, it will not change my mind. Because this trial is not even about this issue, but 3 other non-related issues. The second trial will determine if PIPS was operating illegally or not. This first trial is about money laundering, illegal deposit taking, and withdrawals from illegal activities of PicPay not being legally licensed. That's it. The Malaysian Securities Commission has already declared PIPS a Ponzi, and they are the only agency that can do so. The court only is dealing with criminal matters only.

Before I would judge if the report is biased or not, I would wait until the report is available. You might be surprised to find out it was not as biased as you thought it would be. But let's be honest. The Bat$ is a human being. And try as hard as he might, he may let a little bias creep in while reporting. But the decision of the court will not be biased, and that will be the final judge in all of this. There is no jury trial, in case you were wondering. This is being tried before a judge only.

Read The Bat$ report, and then decide for yourself if it is biased or not; but to assume ahead of time it will be is not being fair. Just because your perception is it won't be before you read it is putting the cart in front of the horse.

Yes, I now had a check on the back office of the LR... which does not by default, mail us of incoming funds... a drawback by them but they must have their cost cutting reasons i can assume.

And since you are NOT a donater, you'll be spared my lack of objectivity and my predator like nature. It's your choice, nobody is forcing you to part with your $2.50. Fine by me. But one thing I can't stand is to let you tarnish my country's image by saying our courts are barbaric. We might not have a perfect system, but we're leagues better than many 3rd world countries. The Marsdens had the bad luck to hire a lawyer that was involved with a high-profile murder case and therefore (speculate) unable to give them the full support. Not my reporting and certainly no fault of Yogi. Just because you are in prison doesn't mean you don't have rights.

Why haven't they themselves contact their relatives? Why didn't BM or his family contact the British High Council? A better question is why hasn't the British High Council contacted him? It's not like he was prevented from doing so. The court officials I've spoken too was equally puzzled, as you say serving the sentence before being proven guilty. It's certainly not of my doing. Now think about the hundreds of thousands of people, around the world that have lost their savings to him. Has he shown remorse? When PIPS went down and he was arrested, he still started HaLotto and when that failed he started the Cycler under a false name.

So don't come complaining to me about being bias. I know how to draw the line between my opinion and the news I write about. When I post the trial reports it is done as matter of fact-ly as I possibly can and any opinions I have will be written separately. I believe in what I write.But when it comes to posting my own opinions, I exercise my right to express them freely. I have yet to receive ANY negative comments on my trial reports so far, except for yours. I suggest you use your own money and fly down here. Come to court with me and listen. That is if you understand Malay. Yup, this 'barbaric' court doesn't even use English. How can "they" have a fair trial?

Well, our courts have interpreters and he or she is assigned to the Marsdens during court. So unless you find yourself and interpreter, take the time out of your schedule to flydown here, let this "wolf" get on with his job.

Money laundering...co-mingling of funds...investor funds transferred to personal accounts or personal investments where they ought not to be...money in personal accounts frozen and not accessible for bail cuz maybe it wasn't personal money to begin with (it was our money, remember?...the investors?...suppose to be invested for investors gains, not for personal needs, personal interest, personal investment and/or for personal gain), thus no right to use it for any other reason, let alone getting ones own ass out of hot water for having used investor funds inappropriately in the first place for personal reasons/personal gain...lots of possible reasons ones "personal funds" maybe could be frozen for 2-3 years and maybe should not be accessible for bail. Oh the irony of that one...

Can I go so far as to speculate that if any of us were told up front (in any investment) that our "investment or loan money" was going to go directly into, or transferred into, a CEO's personal account for his own personal gain instead of being invested, or into personal investments for the CEO and family members, we certainly would not loan or invest...would anyone?

Thing is...WE DO NOT KNOW...we do not know the facts, the what, the why, the wherefores...we need to know the facts, not speculations, not gossip, not heresay, not wondering...we need to know FACTS.

Thus, once again, the need for FACT FINDING!!
