Re:-Trial of Bryan and Sharon
I may be dumb and simple but what I do not understand if the prosecutor has sufficient evidence against the so called accused, why has the trial been delayed time and time again, why not get it over and done with.

This is due to the "system". Evidence gathering is just one factor. Attorney's and Judges being avavilable for the defence and prosecution on the same date is another.
BTW, there is an another trial starting on May the 6th 2008 dealing with additional charges.
A very long winded procedure.

Trial delays are due to the system.
It was due to the system as well as the unavailability of both prosecutor, judge and defense that led us on this merry chase. Talking about chase, I have another case to chase down this coming May 08. Apparently now BNM is trying them hence repeating things over again for them and me!
Stick around, things are just getting interesting. It's going to be long.
Cheers.

Nothing dumb about this presumption as in the case of the BM trial, the procrastination, as many too would view it, may ly with the facts still being incomplete.
Malaysia have found little stomach or Govt funds to set up and monitor, let go hunt after each and every fraudulent-suspect during the set-up phase but they are onto this, even in a very discrete manner that the public is unaware or some are....here, Batty can perhaps elucidate on how the HYIP related forums are disallowed for access by the Malaysian citizens that has an Internet subscription etc. go ahead Batty, give the global members some waiting-time information on the restrictions, slow speed connections and the enforcement of penalties against deliberate offenders etc....
On the "get it over and done with" association by the courts & prosecuting dept, I can firmly believe it has to do with organizational drawbacks and a strong show of incompetency too however, stacking up this case on the Marsdens against all the other domestic cases.... Malaysia has on its own, a fair share of criminals to try and sentence on a daily scale and who knows, just how long each and every one has a history of procrastination involved, just my opinion here as well.
