4dtaxman, geust1, azmia, arcturus...please continue, I have followed this thread daily trying to learn what happened to PIPS and learning much about the programs origins etc. I have really enjoyed the posts from everyone that was around the program from the beginning and actually knows what the He** happened!!! please continue to post, thanks...

Forgive me for being gone the last few days - I had duties to perform and a birthday party for one of my little angels (3 years old).

What has come is interesting to say the least. A few comments:

I am not surprised. -They- have always twisted and contorted every fact, every rumor, every event to meet their own designs. Revisionist history? No, power grab is more like it. We are a world (sadly) filled with predators. If it isn't children, it's senior citizens. If it isn't products, it's your money. These are sad, demonic individuals that can only get off (sorry, folks) by making themselves better than all others, even if it means talking a life. [A 15 year young boy was once asked why he shot his 12 year old neighbor dead. He answered "because I could."]

In response to the "institutional - like twisting of information", a friend of mine was on a commission to write a certain land provision and funding into a federal appropriation. They were having trouble "selling" the bill, but towards the end, some who wanted a bigger slice decided to change the phrase "....not more than...." to "....not LESS than...." and the bill passed without anyone catching it until later. The project was funded far and above what they had hoped for. A great deal of damage can be done by changing just a single word. Just look at that book from OP. I also met someone who told me that most of the major events in history are contrived. It takes all kinds.

Where am I with this? I need to digest a few things before I personally continue. At this point, we are ready to start turning over some stones that may or may not surprise some. A lot is already known or "public", just hasn't been presented in a while or thought about with this type of thread in mind. We may hold off a bit. I have to check on a few things.

Contrary to what some may think......

If we continue, we will be accused of aiding and abetting, and doing this for our own greed. If we stop, they will claim victory yet again. No matter what we do, they will continue to twist and rewrite our thoughts, and use them out of context for their own purposes. We see it here, among our own contributors, simply when there is a language barrier. The danger is when we claim a knowledge of intent. That is the problem here. What was intended to happen, as we understand it, did not. But are we sure that we know what was intended? I would be very careful in decoding what is or was truly meant by those who do not contribute, i.e. BNM, BM, GN, etc.

As for moving forward.......we will in some form. At this point, however, a little rest may be in order. Find out what is being taken and reposted elsewhere, and what is being changed or omitted. That will tell you what the current focus is (of theirs). Also, we are not in the "...so, THERE!" business. True blue don't rub their noses in it. Don't have to.

One other note: We have a mantra, as well........BM gave it to us in 2005. If it doesn't come from him, it (isn't "official", and therefore should be questioned). --I paraphrased and clarified--Arc

I respect the opinions of those long-standing and honorable members who are expressing concern about info in this thread getting into the wrong hands. However, I’m not so sure the concern is as warranted today as it may have been as recently as six months ago.
I think the investigation has now surely progressed beyond the stage where the tactics of PIPS foes could have any influence. I really hope this so, it had better be because if the investigative authority hasn’t got a handle on what has been going on by now, well we’re all in trouble any way! Also, I think it is more than likely that the foes have now fired their best shots and made their moves.

Obviously at some point along this road the investigation will end and then the conclusion. I believe Bryan has stated that after everything has been finalized he shall provide us with an explanation. The big question on so many peoples minds is of course WHEN will we reach that point? The trouble is there’s no way of knowing when. Perhaps next month, three months or six months from now? Just how long this waiting game will go on for is anyone’s guess at this point. Some here are recommending to forget about it and in the meantime move on to other financial pursuits. Well that’s okay for anyone so inclined…and able to do so. However, my guess is that the majority of members are very much focused on this PIPS issue. A lot of members have a great deal riding on this and so who can justifiably criticize us that are so engrossed in the subject?

I’m not claiming to have anything close to knowing everything that’s been going on. But in the almost two years now that I’ve been a member, I have at least picked up a few things along the way that give me reason to continue to trust Bryan Marsden and feel reasonably optimistic about the future. One of the things this thread is showing is that we have members admitting they had no idea about events that are being brought up here. How were they supposed to know? I’m sure many of the more recent members have been drifting from forum to forum hoping to learn something. With the preponderance of rubbish written about PIPS and nothing much coming out of PIPS corner it isn’t surprising that members have ended up feeling confused and ultimately disillusioned. This is most unreasonable and unfair and IMHO this in itself justifies continuation of the thread. Also, from we have seen so far, the thread is being responsibly guided.
Someone here recently reminded that knowledge is power. Indeed it is. Therefore the more we ALL learn, the greater our collective power and in direct proportion the position of the antagonists is weakened.
