One remark... be careful not to underestimate people's idealism. Just like there are people who don't mind to blow the world for there ideals and believes (presidents of countries but also regular people) I wouldn't be that surprised if (at least part of) these pips hunters really mean it and think they are doing good. Humans can be funny creatures.
