Its about time we emptied that glass to see what wriggles about in the dreggs ;)
To step into another mans shoes is nigh impossible...but one fact is certain. GN was never a PR man, and his frustration was evident in some of his posts, during Bryans absence, on the old forum. More than one occassion he did threaten the membership in terse and to the point, blunt updates.
Bear in mind that withdrawals had almost stopped, the merchants voiced their discontent most loudly and we were blighted with member exchange problems. Mixed emotions over the 3% pools and the discontinuation of the 5 year plan only added fuel to the ongoing CC fraud problems with Picpay struggling to present some credibility. I think those alone would have tested the best!!
Warren in my opinion never received backing for his ideas. Since he came onboard in a legal capacity to deal with off-shore structures, at PIPs invitation, the idea of moving the whole shooting match to another country cannot have sat too tight with Bryan, with another bank, a new infrastructure of funding (since the idea was to sell the original PIPs account to an off-shore entity, or, for a new member, a set-up before entering PIPs, if desired at that stage), and I can understand a huge headache for Picpay itself with its already inherent problems. Warren I believe adviced Bryan to removed all member referral links and he did some other work in a like capacity, but his main role was to introduce off-shore asset protection to PIPs members and manage PICTRUST.
Elizibeth, the head of Picpay must have been a gem. Remember most of her staff where local people, not very versed in linguistic skills ( if you ever had cause to telephone, you know what I mean), then the ticket system was introduced to reduce, even eliminate most enquiry phone calls, but again, problems with deciphering an individual written request. Since this lassie and most of her staff managed Picpay thro all the humps, as we all witnessed as members, in the lifetime of PIPs, I think that most of them would still be there if we had continued, such was their determination and strength.
I must say I always received the most pleasant response to all my inquiries, those girls were gems too :)
Regards

Hello everyone,
Hello ArcturusI and everyone else!
I am pioneer PaulM and have just recently joined rolclub...
I have been directed to your thread by Michaelr, who is a close collaborator of mine since pips....but I am afraid when I realised that I had to wade through over 1000 posts to grasp the subject, I decided to take the easy way out and try to contribute from here onwards....hehe!
I joined PI in July 2002...GoldenWomb in January 2003...the 2% program in October 2003 and had 23 pips positions when it was launched in Feb 2004...
Should I be in a position to have an input, I will do my best from here on!
Sincerely Yours
PaulM

Hello again and thanks for your welcome guys!
I have only been able to see a few posts in this thread since it is so vast, so I am not sure what to reply to at the moment...
But I would like to point out the following since I see members keep trying to find out who is at fault and why did Bryan not know better how to protect the program.
We all need to remember that internet investment programs is not an exact science...since it is not governed by only one set of rules and it has many outside forces that affect it...
So no one has the exact blueprint on how to succeed completely with them...
Some program owners understand it more then others... but that is why 99.9% of all internet programs eventually dissapear...
The reasons are varied:
1. Bad Management
2. Bad investments of members funds
3. Not securing returns of members from the necessary controlling agencies
4. Hacker//DDoS activity
5. Not understanding early enough that ecurrencies should not be used for payout in the long term of the program since funding of those platforms with Millions of $$$ weekly create red flags and create problems for the program.
6 Chargebacks by dishonest members who funded their account with a CC..
Etcc.. etcc..
You find that there are quite a few honest admins around now, but mostly they do not work out in advance all the details of the program...especially how to pay large amounts of $$ to members and still keep under the radar...
So as they come across these issues half-way through the program and they do their best to react to it...but things are already running against them...especially if members are not getting paid their returns...
Not every member has the same IQ...
Many understand that it is in their interest to give as much leeway to the admin to resolve the issues, but others are quite ready to cry scam and report any non-paying program to the authorities as soon as they can...
In their minds this will help to get them a refund...but unfortunately as we know from years of experience, that investigations only delay programs even more and do end up losing the program most or sometimes all of its investments to their detriment!
Having visited Pips offices ealy in 2005 and having attended the Hawaii convention, and having spoken to him at lenth on each occasion, I have no doubt at all that Bryan is an honest admin if ever their was one... So we will just have to wait at the pleasure of BoN for the results of their investigation...
Remember they are the central bank of Malaysia and are equivalent to the Fed in the US and the Bank of England in the UK...These guys cannot be hurried and will take their time...we are completely in their hands until they release it...
These are my thoughts...I realise that certain members may have different views from me but that is their prerogative...
I have a very large account in pips and it would help my situation immensely if the program ever came back!
I would even be quite ready to forego all my withdrawals during 2005 if that meant ensuring the longevity of the program...
Sincerely
PaulM

Well said Paul !
As people continue to ask for updates and schedules again and again, the following cannot be repeated too many times:
Remember they are the central bank of Malaysia and are equivalent to the Fed in the US and the Bank of England in the UK...These guys cannot be hurried and will take their time...we are completely in their hands until they release it...
